So.... this is weird. I never thought I'd be posting in Creative Resources. Because frankly, I've never considered myself creative. But, after a failed attempt to find people who might be interested in makeup through General Discussion, @Fhaolan suggested I try posting here. I stumbled upon the most Pinkie Pie shade of lipstick the other day (coincidentally, the shade is called "Silly" by MAC!) and it inspired me to look at some eye designs to go with it. This is the best I've found: http://luhivy.blogspot.com/2013/03/my-little-pony-series-pinkie-pie.html I never would have even thought to capture the cloudy nature of Pinkie Pie's hair on an eyelid! I found it brilliant. I would love to hear thoughts from others Even if not on Pinkie Pie makeup specifically, just on makeup in general. What are your favorite products or tips or tricks? Are you a brand loyal consumer? Do you consider makeup art or just pointless?

Some of my best friends cross dress and imo they do it stunningly. Really, I think everyone should do whatever makes them feel beautiful, no matter what it is (provided they are not harming themselves or others). Not everyone is going to find the same thing aesthetically pleasing anyway, so you might as well like what YOU see in the mirror. That's my whole philosophy on life really. People have called me stuck up for liking what I see in the mirror and "a tease" for being asexual yet wearing short skirts... but when it comes down to it, that's not being stuck up because I don't think I'm above other people, and it's not being a tease because I'm not doing it FOR anyone else. The second I stopped trying to please everyone else, I found myself. And I like her. When I get to express myself through fashion and makeup, I get to be happy. I would be a terrible person to try to rob another person of that privilege.

Spoken like the mare herself. Unfortunately I'm not an element. Headcanon wise I might be turned into a someone in the sisters' council or some sort of diplomat (at least those are the only reasons I can see for being trained like I was becoming a royal. It's the sisters' idea so it's whatever they plan). If I was I'd say maybe the element of spirit, since I'm so stubborn and a good leader. I'm actually more well... Let's just say when I meet tabby at cide...
