    I was thinking ahead in my book and a thought went through my head. Do you think ponies hooves would be soft as skin or hard as bones?

      as hard as stone for the bottom of the hooves but as soft as skin on the legs.

      For ponies? Ehh, somewhere in between for ponies I'd say. Tough skin and bones on the hooves, but softer on the legs. Think the difference between hands and arms.
