I am both above and below the Equator, depending on your perspective, as, in Pinkie Pie's words, "the Earth is round, there is no up or down".

North =/= Up. This is a lie perpetrated by Northern Hemispherian mapmakers the world over, which has been scientifically shown to cause people to subconsciously think of the Southern Hemisphere as inherently worse than the Northern one.
