  1. Some weird creepypasta madness? Hard to tell really, 3/10.
  2. I have once again been bitten by the nostalgia bug.

  3. The 20th can't come fast enough.

The movie wasn't terribly done, for a change. Also didn't have much to do with the game, but perhaps that isn't unrelated :)

  5. Two days ago again, I really gotta remember to post them same-day: "Garlic bread. Cures all diseases." "It should prevent me from getting Coronavirus, I read that online." "...what? I was just making a Skyrim joke."
  6. Doctor Sleep - I loved this! I couldn't help but fanboy during multiple scenes in this movie. I loved every aspect of it, the visuals, the universe-building, just... everything. Having watched The Shining, I just knew I had to watch this. There were even scene reenactments from the prequel! I might be letting my inner fanboy speak a bit too much right now, because I haven't actually thought about it 'measuring up' to The Shining. I don't think that was ever the intention of this film, and let's be honest, how can one 'measure up' to a masterpiece anyways? No, this film for me was just pure fun and an expansion upon the character/abilities of Danny Torrance, which I really enjoyed. I honestly loved how it all tied together with the events of the prequel. 8 - 10/10 from me. Let my fanboy die down a bit and I'll probably give a more concrete score later, but for now I'll give it a solid 9/10.
  7. Love me some Dead Space references. "Well good. They're swarming in through a hole in the medical deck. At least you won't have to go through there." "Unexpected obstruction ahead. Shutting down. Welcome to the medical deck." "Crap."
  8. Not today, actually from two days ago: "So what you're telling me is that people are deliberately paying for pants that already have holes in them and are not from a hand-me-down store?" "Yes." "...yeah, that makes sense."
  9. Evil Dead (1981) - The original one that started it all. Honestly, quite refreshing to watch despite being somewhat hilariously outdated by today's standards. A lot of unique takes to some common horror movie clichés, like the reveal of the monster with the card test. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to watch the sequels and eventually, the remake for comparison. 9/10 Wolf Creek (2005) - Oh man, this is quite a movie. It was great, honestly. Scary in how real it is. Y'know, I always used to consider supernatural entities to be scarier than regular ol' humans, but the antagonist in Wolf Creek makes me take all that back. 10/10 from me.
  10. "Oh, did you have a question?"
  11. I dunno about that song choice, I understand they used it for the lyrics, but still. Otherwise, consider me excited!

Jordan Peele seems to be making a name for himself as the black Wes Craven and I'm totally on board with it!

  12. Fire in the Sky - not what I was expecting, but the abduction scene certainly delivered. (7/10) The Fourth Kind - I both love and hate this movie. I love that it's one of the only good found footage films I've seen about aliens, the others I can think of are Phoenix Forgotten and one of the stories out of V/H/S 2, the only one of those I really like is V/H/S 2's story. I hate this movie because it basically lies to the audience about being true, which I know is part of the illusion, except that The Fourth Kind takes it too far. Don't get me wrong, this film actually gave me the creeps when I first watched it years ago, but now I can't help but get a bad taste in my mouth when I re-watch it knowing how it just straight-up lies to you. It just makes me wish there were more found footage films about aliens. (6/10) Hereditary - I still stand by my previous opinion about this film, it's still great. One of the best horror films I've seen. When re-watching, I loved finding all the different clues and little hints given throughout the film. God, I love this movie. (10/10)
  13. War for the Planet of the Apes - not as good as Dawn, but definitely a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.
  14. *adorable blue speed horse giggle*
