Who would you take to the Grand Galloping Gala?

Well, if I were to take a pony based off of their given reasons, I honestly wouldn't take Applejack. It isn't that I don't appreciate that she wants to help the Apple family; I just wouldn't want to take a pony to the Gala only to not get to spend any time with them actually IN the Gala because they're outside selling Apples. Besides, Applejack can sell her apples just as well back in Ponyville. I would probably take Pinkie Pie based on their given reasons, simply for the fact that she wants to party, and that would equate to a good time with her, rather than A) Sitting around an apple stand, B ) Listening to Twilight talk to Celestia, C) Getting dumped by Rarity for a prince, D) Being ignored by Dashie in favor of the Wonderbolts or E) Walking around in the garden and listening to Fluttershy complain that the animals don't love her. However, if the pony's given reasons were out of the picture, I would take Fluttershy. She is the cutest pony, and also I just love her personality. -

I love the ponies all so much, but Fluttershy is undoubtedly my favorite. Her timid nature is matched equally by a brave spirit, and at times a crazy will. It's the fact that, even though she's shy, she's easily able to stand up for herself when she has to; that's what makes me like Fluttershy so much. Now, if I had to choose a second favorite, THAT would take some time to think about...

So as not to bog this particular forum with a whole lot of different categories (most of which don't have much in them), I'll just post all of my non-crossover pony art to this topic. First up are my 'WeLoveFine' T-Shirt Design contest entries, for Twilight Sparkle and Discord, obviously. I'm not gonna beg people to vote for my designs as I don't feel like either of them are good enough to win, though I like them both well enough. I also am including my work 'Rarity's Jam' in this category rather than the Pony Crossovers, as I don't really feel that Rarity jamming is exactly the kind of crossover that the other works set people up to expect. 'Why Wub Music' is my poke at Apple using Dashie's 'So-Awesome!' pose. I feel a little bad that Steve Jobs passed away only a couple of weeks after I made this, so now it's less satirical and more of a tribute to him. 'Nema' is an OC Pony I created for one of my best friends of the same name, and I also animated her (she is my avatar at the moment as I don't have any other trotting ponies made I can use for myself). The only other 'outstanding' work I have made is a Halloween special piece with Twilight, but it features blood and I don't believe would fit in with the rules of this site, so if you want to see it, see my profile on deviantArt (demonbarber92). Let me know what you think of my work, please. I enjoy critique both positive and (productively) negative.

Glad to know you like it. ^^ Well, I appreciate the offer, but as of this moment I don't have anything planned to use them for. However, should I get an idea to use one with, I'll gladly take you up on that. Also, that RainbowShy one looks pretty cool. Ah, okay then. Well, lots of people like RainbowShy's expression, what with all of the attitude it exhumes. And an easier way for me to know if I'm looking at your work or not would be for me to know your deviant name, really.

I absolutely love Winter Wrap-Up and Best Night Ever, though I really like both of Pinkie's songs (Giggle at the Ghosties and You Gotta Share) as well due to the fact that they're just so chipper. There aren't really any songs I dislike in the show, though, really. Oh, and of course, I can't forget to mention that I'm quite a fan of Flutterguy's rendition of Evil Enchantress. -
She likes the hat, though! Can't you tell by her nervous expression how much she loves it? Well, glad to know you like them, especially Flutterdash. ^^ I've probably seen your Liar ponies on dA if you've posted them there (if not, I've seen someone else's O.o). Yep. On deviantArt I'm known as demonbarber92. Back when I made my account on that site I wasn't so inspired to make a name that I wouldn't dislike later down the line in my life. XD And nifty cutie marks. I never would have thought about doing that.
