Rainbow Sparkle

You are both quickly put through the same checking process that the first two have been through, and as they let you into the palace grounds the guards attitude seems to be improving for the better, knowing that finally, some are answering the call to aid Princess Celestia in this dire time. GM: For the moment, its basically your all going to end up in the conference room until we have all the players. Its a brief time period for each character to get to know the others while we wait for everyone to be present.

GM: Currently replying to those who have stated there at the palace gates The guards notice you, and one of them, a unicorn, approaches you and takes the flyer, seeming to make sure that its the right one. After confirming it, you see the guard nod at the others, and they swing the gates open. He hands the flyer back to you, and it seems a glimmer of hope has appeared in their eyes as they usher you through the gates. The one who checked your flyer says "Proceed into the palace and show this to one of the guards or servants inside. They'll take you to a conference room for a brief bit. If no others come today to aid the Princess, you will speak with her highness before the day is over. If you'll excuse me..." the soldier than returns to his station outside the gates as they swing shut. Just as they're doing so however... The head guard comes over and checks your flyer, and once again the gates swing open to allow entry. He repeats what he told the first pony to come to the gates, and then returns to his post, a smile beginning to form on his and some of the other guards faces.

Slowly, I started to open my eyes as the pounding in my head began to dissipate. "Ugh...that's the last time I let Pinkie convince me to have one of her Pinkie Specials..." I muttered to myself as I rubbed my head with my talon. Blinking away the fog that was still keeping me from seeing anything clearly, I took a good look around...and noticed that I was most certainly not at home. "Okay...what's going on here? This doesn't look like my house...or Ponyville..." Taking a look around, in fact, I got a vibe that this didn't seem to even be the Everfree forest. In fact, I didn't know how, but I got a feeling I wasn't even in Equestria any more. "Well...this isn't the first time I've suddenly appeared somewhere else...but where is here?" I muttered to myself, glancing around at my environment. I seemed to be sitting in the middle of a path, with a wooden signpost sitting nearby pointing in various directions. Pumping my wings, I lifted myself off the ground and said "No use sitting on the ground. Now, the first thing I should do is figure out where I am. But to do that...I'll need to find someone...and outside of Ponyville, I still freak ponies out from time to time..." Suddenly, I heard voices, and around a bend came a group of four walking into view. Three ponies, and one griffon. "Oh thank goodness, I was worried I might have been dropped somewhere unknown to ponykind. Um, excuse me gentlefolk, would you mind telling me where I am?"

But then, one day, Princess Celestia comes down with a strange illness, lossing her ability to use any of her magic. Worried about her sister and the kingdom, she initially considers asking the Elements of Harmony to aid her in finding the cure. But a visit from a mysterious creature convinces her that there is more to this illness than meets the eye, and that sending the Elements out could put Equestria at threat of attack. And so, she decides to instead have flyers put up all over equestria, asking for any pony who feels brave enough to face certain peril in a quest to find a cure for the ailing Princess of the Sun.... ---------------------- Five days later, Princess Luna watched as her sisters chest slowly rose and fell, her body hidden beneath the covers. Even though she seemed to be doing nothing more than sleeping peacefully, Luna knew that this wasn't the case. A terrible affliction had fallen upon her, one that not even her own powers could do anything against. And even after she had tried to get help from the best mages and doctors in Equestria, nothing had worked. It didn't help that they didn't even know what afflicted her. All they knew was the slowly but surely, Celestia was losing her magic. "Is she doing any better Luna?" Luna turned to see Twilight slowly waking up, lifting herself from the pile of books that surrounded her. Luna shook her head, returning her gaze to Celestia as she murmured "No...but she hasn't gotten any worse today. But within another week, or even a month, she may not be able to perform the simplest of spells." "It's okay Luna, I know we'll find a way. You said yourself that you have an idea, that's why you put out all those flyers. I'm sure someone will come who can help." Twilight frowned then, and added "I still wish you'd fill me in on why you think a group of 'hero's' will be able to help though." Luna bit her lip briefly. She wanted to tell Twilight about the visit from that strange creature she had seen several nights ago. But he had warned her that letting the Elements of Harmony know could be dangerous, and that it was best to keep them here in the castle where they could protect Celestia from whatever it was that was ailing her. "I have my reasons Twilight. But thank you for helping me to keep an eye on her. She seems more peaceful when your here, even if your presence does nothing to actually stop this..." Twilight perked up at this, a smile gracing her features. "Thank you Princess Luna, I'm always willing to help a friend." A clock in the room chimed, and Luna sighed. "Please Twilight, continue to keep an eye on Celly. I must go attend to the Day court while she is ill. Perhaps today someone will finally answer the call I've sent out..." With that, Luna left the room, stopping long enough to nuzzle her sister softly before heading to the throne room where she would deal with the various matters that came with ruling a nation. She dearly hoped that someone would come today, declaring that they were there to answer her call. Meanwhile, at the entrance to the Palace, Luna's and Celestia's guards kept an eye out for anyone carrying the flier. Like her highness, they hoped someone would soon come to heed the Princess of the Night's call.

The CMC one isn't all that original in concept, the idea would be to come up with original adventures and shenanigans for them to to get into. The Trixie one is partially based off a fanfic idea I had, and the Return of Discord thing came to me as I was typing up the posts. As for a trick...I had a funny idea for something he could do, but it'd probably have those who play the game and beat it come after me with rubber chickens.

I have a few ideas for fan-games involving MLP FIM, but I need some assistance. At the moment, the main assistance I need is tutorials for the RPG Maker VX program, and figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to ask around here and see if anyone here has either any experience (and might be able to help me learn how to use it) or if anyone can point me to a tutorial that will help me learn (preferably one that helps walk you thru creating a short generic rpg) Once I figure out how to actually use the program, the only think I'd probably need help with would be sprites for all the overworld ponies, and probably vectors for cutscenes, character mugshots, and enemies. to share a few of the ideas I have; Adventures of the Cutie Mark Crusaders: This game would focus on the CMC, with occasional bits from some of the other canon foals and some oc foals. It'd be a short game, likely ending with them either A)getting their cutie marks, or B)Going on an actual real adventure to help save Equestria The Misadventures of The Great and Powerful Trixie: This would game would, obviously, focus on Trixie as she gets swept up in an grand adventure that ranges from finding a foals lost doll to stopping a cult from releasing Discord to preventing a war with the neighboring Griffon Kingdom. and my last idea I have at the moment Return of Discord: Starring the Mane Six (with most play being done as Twilight Sparkle) It starts out like most episodes with Twilight helping her friends and trying to learn more about the magic of friendship. But then, while helping the Apple Family with some of their chores (big mac hurt himself...again) AJ and Twilight hear Apple Bloom and the other crusaders shrieking. The three foals were helping out by making blueberry jelly, when all of a sudden the jelly turned into slime monsters and started chasing them! This event is followed by several others, with seemingly no source for their cause. But after solving some of the strange occurances, things go back to normal for a month...and then all tartarus breaks loose as a wave of chaos erupts across Equestria. This time, its clear whose behind things, for his signature cotton candy clouds raining chocolate milk leave no doubt in their minds. Discord is back. Rushing off to Canterlot, they find it horribly twisted, the palace transformed into a fortress of chaos. Inside, they find Celestia and Luna trapped in a cage, their forms reverted to their days as filly's. Discord informs them that this time, he's come prepared, and that if they want to stop him, they'll have to go retrieve the Elements of Harmony from his own six element wielders, who carry the Elements of Disharmony. This would be the second half of the game, where they must venture forth to find and defeat their opposite elements, retake the EoH, and stop Discord. Anywhosit, I appreciate any advise or assistance anyone is willing to lend me. I'd really like to be able to pull at least one of these off!

Well, that's certainly interesting. Not quite what I had in mind, but without a doubt interesting. It is however, still multiple levels better than what I could do at the moment with my still lacking skills at Inkscape. *shakes hooves again at inkscape* EDIT: A thought...what if you reversed the colors? As in the main body be rainbow, and the hair be white black sparkle things? It might actually look better that way. Or not, I have no idea.

That would make me so happy I may do a flutteryay.! As a side note, I changed my mind, horns are a must.

I have just had a very odd thought for pony fic. It's a cross-over of Parasite Eve and MLP FIM, but not possibly in the way you'd expect (primarily because it has hints of the premise of conversion bureau in it.) A group of scientists studying the Neo-Mitochondria phenomenon and the incidents involving them (The Manhattan Incident, and then the Neo-Ark Crisis) They also look at the growing instability of the world, as well as the damage that humanity is causing to the Earth. They decide to begin doing genetic experiments with Neo-Mitochondria, trying to create a species that lacks the aggressiveness of humans but possesses human compassion, a species that can help humanity protect themselves from each other and the Earth. After a number of failed experiments, resulting in some surprising mutations, they succeed, and the group creates the first Alicorn. Naturally, one of the scientists gets dreams of grandeur and insanity, and decides that simply creating a species to help reign in humanity's problems isn't the answer, but to instead force all of humanity to undergo forced evolution, transforming humanity and removing the source of the worlds problems. Enter Aya, who with the help of the first Alicorn and friend of the rogue scientists, work to stop the madman's master plan from occuring. This time though, they are unable to stop the bad guy from executing his plan, unleashing a virus across the globe that begins to transform most humans into oddly shaped (and colored) ponies, while some change into strange creatures right out of mythology. Even the scientist transforms after injecting himself with a large portion of the virus, becoming a deformed and mismatched creature, who then decides to call himself "Discord" Aya and the first Alicorn are then forced to do battle with Discord, and using the power of their own mitochondria, defeat and seal him inside a energy prison in the depths of his secret labs. While Discord has been defeated, chaos reigns on the world as humanity begins to spiral to near extinction, while the various new sentient and semi-sentient races fight each other across the globe. The Alicorn and Aya then say their goodbyes, as Aya goes off to track down any who like her, already had Neo-Mitochondria and are therefore immune to the virus Discord unleashed, in an effort to keep humanity from vanishing off the face of the earth, while the Alicorn goes out to try and help her fellow pony-kind find and create the harmony her creators wished them to create from the very beginning. Cue time skip, several thousand years later or so, and you have a pair of pony scientists stumble upon an ancient facility in the rocky mountains, where they accidentally unleash Discord from his prison, and whereupon he goes off the spread chaos across all of the continent. And of course, you can figure out the rest of it. Yeah, the idea could use some fleshing out, but the premise I think is certainly interesting. Anyone have any thoughts that could be used to flesh or expand this idea out? Oh, and if anyone is interested in this idea, feel free to use it. Just credit me for the idea itself!

Yes, though specifically it'd have the face of the black ones without the hair hiding the eyes. And probably not have horns. The actual skin could be any of the shades sheep have that looks good with the rest of it. or, of course, if someone could do a MLP FIM styled sheep that looks different from that, that'd work too.

I have recently been wanting to make myself a ponytar, but my skills at drawing are having difficulty as they encounter the frustrations of understanding and getting to learn Inkscape (shakes hoof at said program) Anywho, I have come up with something that I think would be rather unique among all ponytars, and am looking for someone who is good at drawing in the MLP FIM style and is willing to do an art request naturally (as I have no cash for commissions) The idea? A Male Sheep with black wool that has tiny starbursts/sparkle things in the coat, and the wool on his head being rainbow colored and in the shape of pinkie's hair. If that didn't work, then probably a reverse of that, or just rainbow colored coat and instead his pupils are starburst/sparkle things.

You know, I can say one thing thing that mods here don't have to worry about with me. If I disgree with you, just because your a mod doesn't mean I'll hold it back. I'll tell you whats on my mind, though I may (or may not) be slightly more tactful in said telling in the case of a mod (don't wanna tick the mod off after all )

I use firefox, but I don't tend to misspell words all that often, so I don't have much to worry about. Grammar on the other hand...but I only generally have to worry about that when writing fanfiction.
