There are some people who have suggested this. I take it a step further and go all Parasite Eve on the idea and say it was the result of a purposeful genetic experiment. You misunderstood. The idea here is not that humans from our world go to equestria, but that there are already humans existing in their world. This is actually rather interesting, and I have to say I would not have a problem at all if humans were revealed in the show in a manner like this.

The title says it simply, but lets expand on this. If humans do exist in the world of FIM, what do you think they are like? Are they basically us, perhaps with just lower tech? Do they exist as nomadic tribes, or as a powerful yet mysterious ancient civilization? Is it more of a Planet of the Apes thing, where humans exist but can't talk? I like to think that if humans exist in the FIM world, their either nomadic tribes (perhaps akin to the mongols or turkic tribes) that live in a far off and isolated part of the world, or that their a powerful civilization that is mostly isolationist, content to remain within their own boundries. What thoughts do you guys and gals have?

That...that would be an awesome episode. When they end the series, they must do that!! This could theoretically be possible. Considering how some fans of the show have been able to make their own flash animations, the brony community could continue the show even after it "officially" ends. As for her joining the wonderbolts, I'm going to make use of the argument thats mentioned in the fanfic Equestria Total War. Its not that the Wonderbolts don't want her to join, they do, its just that Celestia is the one vetoing it due to the fact that Rainbow Dash is the element of Loyalty.

When it comes to the dPhoenix bit EASA, they wanted to smash it, not eat it. They just wanted to break/kill/smash something, like some teenagers out there like to do.

Because in mythology/fantasy, Dragons had a tendency to sleep on their hordes alot? To be honest, I see no reason why need to sleep for thousands of years anyways. Heck, the only reason they seem eat Gems is because, seeing as most of the animals in the series are semi to fully sentient, it would be really really mean for them to actually eat other creatures.

It's been theorized that Dinosaurs were warm-blooded, and they were really big lizards. Plus, we have a way of knowing whether their cold blooded or not. Cold-blooded creatures go into hibernate in cold temperature right? Spike has been thru winters without hibernating, not to mention crossed a mountain covered in snow. So, warm-blooded. I share this viewpoint. This is really making me want to work on my HiE story idea that has their world actually being Earth several thousand years after a nuclear war effectively wiped most humans out, with some 1 million humans world wide managing to place themselves in cryo-stasis in deep underground bunkers. it would involve an eventual war between some of the remaining humans and the various native races as some of the humans decide to "reclaim" their world.

The only problem with that is, this being Discord we're talking about, he'd be easier to find than a giant neon sign in the middle of the sahara desert at night would be. xD

The problem with Discord is his seemingly unlimited power. If Discord came back, he'd have to have either another motive for showing himself, or his power would have to be toned down. Seriously, the guy can (seemingly) alter the very laws of physics. He is way too overpowered to show up in only one episode as a villain for them to smack in the face. Besides, I'm more of the thought on two things regarding Discord and Season 3. 1-I personally think Discord is STILL loose. Discord's sound effect was used at least once outside of the Return of Harmony episodes (The Cerberus, nice doggy, good doggy ) 2-I think his showing up will be more of in some sort of Flashback sequence, or perhaps more time travel. Or they may be horribly rude and start doing "Spot Discord" on us Personally, unless they decided to make Discord a bit more like Q and less evil, more actual chaotic, they might be able to bring him back in. There's also the question of whether or not their going to follow the trend set with Season 1 and 2. Will Season 3 open with another big bad showing themselves? I don't think it would make much sense for them to bring Chrysalis back so soon, and Discord's already been used in a season opener (making it kinda redundant in my mind to use him again in that fashion) So we have to wonder if yet another big bad is waiting in the wings for us. Its certainly possible that the Queen could come back, but I think it might be better to instead have her be working from the shadows, and instead have Equestria constantly having to deal with the worry of changelings being amongst them. Heck, they wouldn't even have to directly base an episode on it, they could just show royal guards putting a changeling in a cage or some such, or we could see a background pony acting differently or some such.

God I love the Military As for what would happen in a war between ponies and humans, there are a number of things to consider. The first thing that comes to my mind is the comic book series Fable, and how they portrayed a war between the world of Earth and the Empire ruling the Fable worlds would go. The conclusion in the Fable series of comics was that, with the help of the Fables hiding on Earth of course, that modern Earth would curbstomp the magical evil empire (of course, it was also hinted that afterwards, Earth politics would get very interesting). With that thought in mind, lets take some things into consideration. For now, we're going to assume that, regardless of where Equestria is, we are capable of invading it. Firstly, lets start with Population. We have no real idea of how many ponies there actually are in Equestria, or for that matter, how big Equestria really is (damn you show mechanics >_<) So, if a United Earth (United being debatable) is invading Equestria, we can win theoretically by sheer numbers. Another thing to consider is the technological gap. From what we've seen, the most we can assume Equestria's military capabilities to be is between 15th century to possibly 17th century. The modern weapons of Earth will be something that they are quite unfamiliar with, especially when you add in that our aircraft (Rainbow Dash is probably the ONLY Pegasus who could keep up with some of our fighters, the wonderbolts being a close second) So, weapon wise, we got them beat, even without nukes. There's also the psychological aspect to consider. Have the ponies known of us for a while, and we of them, and we're only now deciding to invade, or is this a case of First Contact gone horribly wrong? Despite the Diamond Dogs, I think the ponies would likely find us to be very alien, especially considering our aggressive tendencies. There's also the question of how seeing some of our technology would make them think. You don't necessarily need to wage a war if your opponent thinks they have no chance of winning against your weapons. Now yes, we reach the question of magic, but I have to question how effective this would be. Magic seems to thus far be fairly subjective depending on the pony and their special talent (it should be noted that Rarity was stopping pillows, not bullets, which would be moving MUCH faster) There is also the simplest facet that tends to be mentioned in Modern world vs Fantasy World, which is that magic takes time to learn, whereas any idiot can pick up a gun and shoot it. (whether they can hit the broad side of a barn is debatable, but they don't need to spend years learning how to use it) We must remember that Twilight's special talent IS magic, and she is therefore going to be far better at it than other unicorns. There is also the question of whether or not Celestia and Luna actually raise and set the sun. I know some bronies who theorize it's all smoke and mirror's on the part of the alicorn sisters (and previously, the unicorns. In fact, Hearth's Warming Eve actually made them feel validated in that idea) and there's also some bronies who believe its more a case of them simply controlling their world's rotation. I personally like my theory that Equestria is part of a Dyson Sphere. Anyways, this is important because if they can't actually raise the sun and moon, then they are far less powerful then they seem and the possibility of defeating them becomes higher. Of course, it should be recognized that a Human invasion of Equestria would release so much Discord and Chaos that Discord would be out in a flash, and then we'd have to deal with him (although, if all he does is simply illusions, he may easier to beat as well) More could probably be said, but I think that's the crux of it. Suffice it to say, I think humanity would curbstomp Equestria if we were deadset on taking over. Obviously things might not be as easy in the occupation, but that's another story.
