      If you are going to use underground cartoons too you could add this one maybe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhzpBv9E0Ys it starts sad but ends happy. One of the main characters dies by incident. Unfortunately there is no dubbed or at least subtituled version because this show isnt very famous

      And then, a funny thing happened. Most (but not all, to be fair) cartoons stopped thinking to take anything seriously, to the point where a show about multicolored ponies in a magical world started beating everyone at their own game. ;D
