Lots of strange stuff out there...just don't get into the vertical text thing. 

Well, yeah; but someone posted the other day asking people to reply in backwards text, and I did it the hard way; realised after doing some unicode work though that the reverse-text operator might do that for me, so tried it and it worked

Hasbro have been releasing entire seasons of FiM in a single case - Season four set just came out (I say just - it was released late november) and I have already bought Seasons one though three - so now have season four as well. They seem to have squeezed all 26 episodes onto just four DVDs (S1 and S2 had five each)

I have the episodes already of course (and streaming access, via amazon prime) but having actual box sets in my hooves makes me happy too

Now everything is clear. I know acronim "SE" but not "S". So even bigger  congratulations! Are you going to watch them again? It is really interesting that they squeezed four seasons on one DVD! I guess that quality is not worse that on the earlier DVDs

I am doing the episode-a-day thing, so day I am up to S03E03 - and the Mirror Pool

The next "talking head" They probably forgot about the mission itself. Maybe it landed successfully let's say ....few minutes ago.

It's down and they got a carrier wave from the transmitter on the platform, so they know its ok and passed its self checks.

No further action until the solar panels deploy though, and it is set to wait a few hours to let the dust from the landing settle before that happens. we got one picture (though a dust cover) of the landed platform, with the horizon (and a bit of the platform itself) visible before the cubesats orbited out of range (on the uhf transmitter)

Less work than it looks. I found a really convenient multipack of spray chalk (literally the right four colours, so what are the odds?) on amazon when looking into somepony's comment about street-arting dashie (or at least her cutie mark) onto their school carpark.

So... broke down the cutie mark into five solid-colour areas - the (entire) cloud and blue strike, the yellow strike, the red strike, and the two halves of the white cloud. So, one quick trip though my printer and a bit of work with an exacto-knife, and we have a flanksey-style stencil, four tins of spray chalk, and a test target of a bit of random card I had on hand. inside of my bathtub is a bit multihued though

These bolts look very good but the cloud indeed could be a bit better. As you said the wall itself is a problem. Do you you have in plans to paint more cutie marks?

Cloud had to be thicker so it would stick to the already applied blue - if I had let the blue dry first, it might have gone better, but wanted the process to be relatively fast..  I also had split the cloud into two as it would otherwise have had far too many thin pieces - so again, the layering is the problem. I could have used a spray fixer to lock the layers down, but half of the point here is that it is just chalk (and will wash off when it rains) rather than spray paint. possibly if I applied the blue over a white cloud? but that may not work much better when it comes to "lifting" from the underlying layer.

This is just a first pass though - lots and lots of chalk left (also possible - if I used blue stick chalk rather than spray, the blue layer would be dry already.. may try that)

The thread, tickes and jam are clues for the Gem Hunt Part 2 event. The gem awards are just there because everyone contributed in using the pickaxe reaction so many times.

The fact is that fans much more care about such stuffs than Hasbro. In my opinion the most beautiful artworks related to MLP were created by Bronies.

It's a guilty pleasure; I am not sure what I am going to do with them, given my little Fluttershy by my bed is the only real minifig I want or need, but there is a thrill in not knowing what you are going to get until you open them,and I was walking past the display anyhow

I used a badge maker once, it was the most fun I've had with a non-electronic machine/device/system.

I cheated a bit and printed the cutie mark from the file I use for my avatars - but otherwise, entirely mechanical (and good fun)

build quality seems decent - the metal base is two part, so the edges of the image are wrapped under and clamped between the parts.

Nice, man!  When I bought some blind bags, I was lucky enough to get Trixie first! Then a bunch of random background ponies...  

I was hoping for a Luna, but a Fluttershy is more than welcome in my mini-herd as are Rarity and Derpy; they aren't as cute as the pencil-eraser figures, but that range doesn't have a Derpy or a Rarity, so I am happy I got them as the OTHER sort of CMC

Truth be told, I reserve myself from giving him a nice kick oft, because it would make Shy sad ONLY! The little fluff ball can be a real git... although, he can be truly caring and noble likewise.

Sometimes I love the little fluff ball or hate the little fluff ball, depending on what mood they are in.
