I don't usually make these but I need to say some things, because this is very important to me. If this makes anyone see me differently or unfollow me, so be it, I don't need superficial relationships anyway. I need to open up about who I am and what my friends should understand about me going forward in this uncertain future.
I am Pastel Heart, the cute filly who springs around the forum, RPs, posts stuff, loves being her energetic best self~ absolutely! And behind everything I do is a philosophy of true love, of a longing of freedom and universal understanding. A love of life as I see as the best parts of the world, which are often lost. I often live under rose tinted glasses, because the present is so sad, and the future is bleak. Even on the forums I've seen that bleakness and it depresses me. But lately, I haven't felt like that. Why is that?
I look and see that for the first time in what feels like so long, in the awful waking world, people standing up for themselves as individuals and looking to bring about a tomorrow that is for all. This gives me strength, a strength I haven't felt in a long time, and what seems like an impossible dream doesnt seem so impossible.
I believe in the values of love, friendship, individuality, to be able to be yourself, to not have to wear a metaphorical mask over your true self to survive, that no one should be treated badly for being who they are, or be left in the cold because they don't meet a certain standard. I find beauty in chaos in the sense that maybe tomorrow you could be doing something very different from what you did yesterday.
Everyone should have the right to be happy, genuine, not be left to starve, not go sick when they can be cured, live their own life without being told what to do, or hurt, or bullied or shackled down, and everyone should be able to stand up for themself if they're treated unfairly, especially by the weak of will. These are things, core values I hold dear. The philosophys of hate, control and deception have no place anywhere in my will. And so I reject them.
It's my hope that when the dust settles at the end of this, we can u-turn away from the future of bones and dust and towards a different future. A better future. One that I can actually live in, be able to function in, and actually be excited for what comes tomorrow... Freedom, love, individuality. I can't be anything else but me. And I stand with those out there fighting to make this kind of world where we can all live a little comfier a reality.
I'm not a fake ego with an agenda. I'm just me. I'm emotional, I'm nostalgic, crazy, selfish, and forever small. All of this, shortly, I am Pastel. I want to be courageous and have many happy years with the wonderful friends I've made here. Everything I want is to further and expand that love into greater blossoming flowers. If my friends who love me and care will stay by my side, and never abandon me on this journey, maybe we can make a better day, for outside and in.
