Today I got a rant from a professor for standing for myself instead of accepting the punishment for something I didn't even do!
This is why I don't like school:
Stupid teachers.
Every day a group of students must clean the classroom, its an specific group of them for each day, today nobody cleaned and instead of just making the ones who had to do the job clean he sent everyone back to the classroom to clean it, I argued with the teacher and now he wants to speak with my mother for "not respecting him" when I am one of the only students who actually pays him attention in class and when I want him to respect me for once and just to get me off the hook for something I didn't do, he doesn't!
I'll calm down now, take some deep breaths and just let that were it belongs: the past.

If a teacher wishes for respect from their students, then perhaps they shouldn't go out of their way to lose it through unjustified actions towards those they are supposed to be teaching and setting an example for. I've dealt with my fair share of their kind in the past during my school days years ago.
They are there to teach a subject in the same way that a student is there to learn a subject. Their position of reponsibility is not grounds for them to indulge in pathetic little power trips. Yes there are certain students who are little shits. But you punish them and not the innocent students who are actually working hard and behaving. Afterall, in the real world you don't punish innocent bystanders just because they were in the proximity of a crime scene.
Your professor has a lot to think about and a lot to reflect on in regards to his conduct.
