      Fortunately, the fires are on the other side of the mountains, and they got a lot of cliffs that would protect the fires from spreading here, but yeah, my eyes and throat are burning terribly, the smoke is thick enough to block out the sun in certain areas, and according to reports, the fires are hot enough to melt steel. I'm pretty much trapped indoors for the time being, as conditions are just unbearable outside.
