  1. The biggest cheaters in all of Warner Brother fiction, Monstars.
  2. Monstars from Space Jam.

  3. Rainbow Dash in the fictional world of MLP can be brash at times, but the teasing received by her is tame compared to the abuse we may get from some people in real life IMO. I could put up with the occasional name calling from her, it may sting, but sometimes she berates others because someone else did something reckless, like her parents launching fireworks at her, where it's more understandable. RD has flaws herself but she is not evil, she would not put me in a hospital for saying something she did not agree with. I could see a friendship lasting with her if I could exist in that fictional world. Not all friendships are like that IRL, yes, some can last a lifetime and those are the friendships we treasure the most, but some other friendships end miserably and can turn into violent situations.
  4. People like to point out the flaws with MLP characters in hindsight but compare their issues to our ones in real life Too bad Mane Six don't exist to give us humans a dose of humble pie for this. Our species, developed weapons of mass destruction that could potentially lead to our extinction, it couldn't get any more irrational than that. I don't believe we are in any position to complain about what bad decisions the Monarchy created in the fictional world of Equestria. I've seen far more incompetence in the real world, people kill for religion and money.
  5. I don't blame you, I'd do it too, on the condition I got to reunite with loved one's from a past life in Nirvana someday, but for that I would need to put some effort in my growth in that fantasy world scenario, same as everybody else, it cannot be a shallow reward, it has to be earned through consistent acts of kindness and maturity, and those acts have to be motivated by concern for others, not self gain. I'm so sick of the world I am in, for the reasons you mentioned. Genocidal governments, the threat of nuclear war, climate change and division that leads to our human rights being trampled on. People just don't seem to learn from their mistakes either, the same problem that got Adolf Hitler elected, still exists now. So it's like, whatever, I'm so done with this world, unfortunately there is no afterlife, this is all we've got. I do agree with you that if in a non existent scenario, we got our wish, if we could exist in that fantasy world, then my future would be becoming a Pegasi in FIM multiverse I don't know which type of Pony you would pick but really, it does not matter as long as your right to autonomy got respected, in my fan fiction, souls choose their destination of rebirth if approved by gatekeepers of that realm, Luna being a gatekeeper of her own domain.
  6. I mean that's kind of a reason why I wrote my MLP fan fiction, which is nowhere near finished yet but its a story about some souls getting reincarnated into alternate timeline Equestria. Of course just a fantasy, Bardo and Nirvana are Buddhist concepts, nothing more. But @Night Sky here agreed that these concepts fit the tone of Friendship is Magic at least in a fan fiction. Things like redemption, unity and pursuit of wisdom are still in both, it's just handled in a different way, and nobody treats MLP like a religion. Giving up social media to me would be a small price to pay to exist in a fantasy world like that. I don't know what I would do instead however I cannot imagine it being Hell. Some people might consider it to be torture to exist in that fantasy world, but not me, I've already had a few other adults tell me the same. It would be liberating, we'd be encouraged to get out more, engage in healthier relationships with our friends and not stir up unnecessary drama behind other people's backs, the existence of magic in that fantasy world scenario would sweeten the deal, if used wisely.
  7. and the obsession with technology has had negative effect on some people, there's a phenomenon called doom scrolling, known to contribute to increased stress and sleepless nights for people of different age groups. I'm not informed on all of the ins and outs of this however experts have told people that this is not healthy and that spending too long on social media each day can cause harm, also over exposure to blue light from displays can lead to problems like insomnia, this is why blue light filters are used to reduce (but not completely block as this is impractical) blue light reaching the retinas so that the brain can release melatonin during night hours. Would people want that behaviour to be normalized in a fictional world like Equestria? not only does it carry these implications, it would be incredibly boring to watch Ponies blog each other on Facebook all day. Magic on the other hand keeps the sense of wonder in their fantasy world, magic isn't perfect, but it doesn't lead to negative behaviours I mentioned earlier, or the stupidity with situations like texting while driving. Yes, with the right application technology is a good thing, but when it is not used responsibly it can have devastating effects on people's lives.
  8. I cannot help but be sceptical of future generations of My Little Pony, one person pondered what if technology were used instead of magic. Technology is cool and all, but it has its limitations, limits that are not good. It cannot resurrect the dead, a feat impossible in real life for obvious reasons, and and while science is good at proving what happened in history, some evidence in history was destroyed, hence unsolved crimes. I'd be in favour of an MLP G6 if it had some composite of the two, but having watched Friendship is Magic/G4 and going onto an MLP series that has none of that, is going to feel pretty jarring. The idea of having Unicorns which are mythological beings from European folklore, be without magic is going to feel very strange to me.
  9. I am aware some people were not fond of Princess Luna and Princess Celestia turning Chrysalis, Cozy Glow and Tirek into stone in season 9, but it's their own fault anyway, especially Chrysalis and Tirek. They had multiple chances to redeem and each time they exploited the good nature of others for their own benefit. If Discord had crossed the line this much, it would be the same for him. No, I don't blame Luna and Celestia for acting in this way to defend their kingdom, even in the case of Cozy Glow, she was far too powerful for them to take a chance on, and if they could not remove her powers, what else do you suggest they had done with her? if Luna and Celestia had not taken decisive action to deal with the problem, y'all would be complaining that Celestia and Luna put others lives and freedoms in jeopardy, just because they felt sorry for her.

  10. For all the criticisms Princess Celestia from MLP gets, I have seen characters from other fictions behave far worse than her, and destroy for more selfish reasons. If I were in the fictional place called Equestria I would at least be confident I and my friends would not be targeted for elimination by Celestia, as long as I did not do something terrible. In some other fictional worlds, their so called protectors are not so protective, as been established, the world of Dragonball is broken, with selfish gods and inept heroes. I would not enjoy being in the fictional world of DC Universe either, since they let their villains kill again and again like in the Injustice movie.

  11. I think Zen-Oh from Dragonball Super sucks and is overrated. I don't care how child like he is, he still has far too much power for a responsibility he was given. And Dragonball characters are so inept they go along with it as if that doesn't even matter and was one of the fundamental reasons why I lost interest in Dragonball. It's not funny, at all. You think Princess Celestia from Hasbro's My Little Pony FIM is as inept as this? think again. She may have flaws of her own but she would never be as this reckless with her own kingdom. She doesn't erase souls just because others said something to upset her.

  12. My MLP fan fiction I'm trying to work out more ideas for, may not appeal to everyone but it is not supposed to, everyone's got different tastes. Some may consider the fantasy world scenario of being reborn in Equestria is like Hell, though I disagree and to me that world is better than the real one for a large number of reasons, but compare that situation to Dragonball, where rubbish and incompetent deities can erase a universe at any moment, just because they got angry about something or bored. I'd take the fictional world of Equestria over that fictional world from Dragonball any day of the week. At least I'd be less likely to be murdered there, and erasing a soul is even worse as there is no coming back from that.

  13. Kick the Rock! (Wild Canyon) - Sonic Adventure 2
  14. Most Ponies in the show are cute in their own way but if I had to pick the top two, it's Fluttershy and Princess Luna.
  15. It's hard for me to say, probably Flim Flam Brothers, the reason being is because they try to scam Ponies for their get rich quick schemes. The time I remember this being most unacceptable is when they trick Granny Smith into thinking a pseudo miracle tonic would cure her of her condition and make her younger, that later turned out to be bogus and nearly cost Granny Smith her life. I'm not as irritated by Pinkie Pie's antics as some other fans are, I think it's just part of her hyperactive persona and child-like innocence, and people criticize her way too much I think, while not paying enough attention to the harmful antics of some other characters. Zephyr Breeze is annoying though, and like a typical egotist he believes Rainbow Dash has a crush on him, I've said it before that he is the MLP equivalent of Johnny Bravo, once in Flutter Brutter was bad enough, he continued to behave like that in future episodes, even leaving Canterlot castle unguarded at once point if I recall correctly, and he never owned up to this and blamed this on others, and honestly, I don't like him. None of the Mane Six characters came close to annoying me as much as him, not even Rainbow Dash at her worst moments. Rainbow Dash at least has a heart and shows willingness to help others even at the cost of her own career at Wonderbolt. Zephyr Breeze is just selfish and takes advantage of the charitable nature of others, while not doing a damn thing to help anyone but himself.
  16. That is very cute, not saying this in a condescending way either, I too, find comfort in imagining MLP characters when I get angry about something. It's natural to be upset about unfairness, but when it's something we cannot do anything about, all we're really doing is putting our health at risk. Increased adrenaline is meant to be a response to danger or a threat, and although it did help our survival, it isn't supposed to be continuous, we are seeing the effects anxiety is having on people now, which experts have told us is something we should do something about. I'm on medication for anxiety disorders myself.
  17. For me items get lost mostly if they are small or same color as the surface they're on. I keep most of my SD cards in the draw of my desk for that reason. Anything small, guitar picks or other, is generally a bad idea to leave out in the open. Do you have a case to store it in with your guitar?
  18. In this MLP fan fiction the downside of the Curse of the 13 Tridents concept I made, is it rapidly saps its welder of their life force, so cannot be used indefinitely. If used for too long without resting in between, it'll destroy its user. Its use case, defensive tactic, to create distractions to allow others time to escape. It'll be unofficially dubbed Sailor Magic.

  19. In my MLP fan fiction I am thinking of a fan made spell called Curse of the 13 Tridents for Twilight Sparkle. It's a duplication spell, by materializing 13 tridents, she can summon multiple copies of herself at will, non sentient illusions that she controls. The 13 tridents then come together around her creating an impenetrable barrier that can only be nullified by something like Alicorn magic, Holy Water or chaos magic.

  20. Ironically, Discord, from what I've seen of comic scans from G5 on Youtube, Discord had a horrible fate and I did sympathize with him. His eternal separation from Fluttershy sucked, and even though he made mistakes I don't think he deserves this, eternal separation from loved one's while trapped with the memory of their loss causing emotional anguish, a fate worse than death IMO.
  21. It's good that Yosemite Sam was in Space Jam as well. Yes I know he is a bandit of the wild west character, however he did contribute to the freedom of Looney Tunes so despite him being depicted as somewhat ignorant in Looney Tunes for the sake of comedy, his antics did help them that time. It doesn't make him good, what it does show is he at least has the common sense to defend his world from a bigger problem. If he had continued to cause Looney Tunes trouble despite all that, he would have been a liability and irredeemable IMO.

  22. As long as they're still alive and well that's what matters. It's upsetting that some people die and are lost forever. No one really knows how much time they have left, even with a medical diagnosis for a serious health condition they can only give you informed estimates of how much time you have left.
  23. Space Jam movie did have its problems like I said before. Like how Bugs Bunny went about proving his existence to Michael Jordan with a kiss. My reaction is like with sarcasm "Yeah sure, because that's something that typically happens to prove the existence of a once thought to be fictional character." Then again, I suppose it's better than smacking Michael Jordan over the head with a giant mallet or dropping an anvil on his head.

  24. Danny DeVito's performance as Swackhammer in Space Jam was cool though. He did a good job with depicting Swackhammer as a calculating business tyrant who sees profit as a means to an end. For all the criticism the movie got, Space Jam could have done a lot worse, and it definitely earns its spot in Warner Brothers classics in my opinion.

  25. Space Jam definitely had its fun moments, and that moment where the clearly animated moment where Michael Jordan stretched his arm to land the last hoop was epic. I don't know if the Nerdlucks truly earned their place in that world though considering they literally tried to help Swackhammer enslave other characters for eternity at a fictional place called Moron Mountain. Sure they gave the talent back to NBA players. But you cannot help but think it was a mistake to let them stay with Looney Tunes. They cannot die, but that does not matter when you're talking about eternal slavery, which is worse.
