    I like the shading and the lighting technique you used. Come to think of it, the background is pretty coool too.... I think I can kiiiiinda dissect how you did it, just by looking at it -- Heck, it's already a masterpiece as I notice more & more details. ...aaaaanyhow, 'Nuff about that. tl;dr:- the face is cute.

I'll start drawing other stuff once I believe I'm more confident enough. EDiT:- *bunp* Hey guise! I drew another doodle this morning. This one is 'posta be a kinda pseudo- Rainbow Dash, but in the style of those sorta toon-furry critters I often draw. EDiT #2:- *bunp* I figure I might aswell try following a buncha diffrent paths, in order to find my true art-style. EDiT #3:- *bunp* I posted two new doodles today. Take a look!:- This is Baxter the cabbit. Baxter is quite childish & hyperactive, and has the attention span of an oooh look, a sparkley. He is very sweet and very stupid, and will hug just about anyone he meets who he likes. He has a compulsion to wanna climb tall things. His favourite food is discarded leftovers. This one is just a messy doodle I never got around to colouring. I didn't exactly anticipate on finishing it anyhow, so I drew it all on a single layer.... fehh, w'chever. -.-"/

    *cheers & applauds* Very impressive!! You certainly have a 'vision' for composing music. It's rare to find someone among our typical agegroup mileau, whose musical tastes are this unorthodox. My guess is you are/were a band geek in high school? (Nothing wrong with that; I'm asking genuinely.)

    It's OK. Infact, I posted this to help you out, so that way others wouldn't try to take advantage of you, asking you to draw their OCs - sometimes doing things that you miiiiight not be quite comfortable drawing. Then you hafta tell them no I'm not gonna draw this, and feel guilty for turning them down. ...Such has often been my experience. I dunno if that's ever happened to you tho'. Just some advice, I s'pose. o.o"/

    I know it isn't my place to say this, but I'm gonna throw it out here anyhow, for reminders' sake.... When someone asks for suggestions on what they should draw, it is not the same as taking requests. Suggestion:- "You could try drawing a so-&-so doing such-&-such." =D Request:- "Can you draw my OC so-&-so doing such-&-such?" >:C Just a personal pet-peeve, is all.

    Sure, I'll give it ago. This concept is already spinning the gears in my brain.... 'Sides I've been meaning to write some kinda story involving multiversal travel, for awhile. Altho' I didn't want it to end up as yet another poorly executed X-over fanfic.

    I like the simplicity of these short passages. Somehow that's what resonates with me the most, (tho' the contents and your style is fine too o.o" ) It reiterates that I don't always necissarily hafta make a novel-series for it to be considered as "writing". But don't take my word for it. Somepony else will come along and leave a more meaningful response, than my narcisstic "feedback".

    You guise make it look so easy; as if anypony could simply conjure up an intracately detailed universe in ten seconds flat. Altho' I guess what they say is true, about how creative thinkers are born not made. Either ya have it or ya don't. /self_pity And you're sorta correct in compareing this system to the Colour Pie. They each have values which conflict with the others. But they also especially have values in common. I might be missing something here, but far as I can tell, the diagram and explanation above only seems to show opposites. I mean as in, the Elements in the top row all allies with eachother, amirite....? o.o"/

    My DeviantART is mostly sparse, becos' I don't have a whole lot to show that's worth showing. Recently tho', I'm starting to allocate more time for drawing. After all, in spite of finals & a p/t job, I have waaay too much time leftover. I also madeup a list of things I wanna get drawn soon too. [linkeh] 'Sides I'll hafta learn how to draw ponies eventually anyhow. o.o"/ *BUNP* AACK!! No, not yet! I won't allow my art thread to fade into the obscurity of the archives.... 'Sides I still have plenty of drawings still to post.

    Oh I can see it alright. Perfectly clear, matter of fact. I was simply pointing out what it reminded me of, and I guess I was kinda hopeing to provide inspiration ...or something, I'unno. I admit I couldn't exactly convey my whole message right. It was late and I'd missed my meds for that day. Normally whenever I do tho', it usually ends up alot more disasterous.... In fact this might've been the best possible outcome 0.o" *takes personal note for future refrence*

    Intersting. If you're aiming to make the viewer look closer for hidden details (like maybe a face), then you nailed it. Altho' you say it is 'posta be a dragon, so I'm probaly overthinking it.... I like this style either way.

    I like that one in the bottom-center. Even tho' it's just a slightly modded & recoloured base, I kinda wanna know more about this character. Might you be abit more descriptive?

    I can see how the MLP Fandom is so undeniably popular. Due to the "friendship" theme, it is heavily character-centric. The drawing style is streamlined, making it ideal for a variety of dynamic OCs. And becos' the FiM universe isn't setting-based, there's plenty of possibilties for the fanbase to imagine and create stuff. As for me, I'm quite the introvert. I have more to hafta learn about friendship than Twilight, and right now I'm so far behind I could never catch up -- certainly not all my own.... Thanks again in advance. A forum community like this - where others take time to not only read but respond to intro posts - seems very promising. I look forward to experiencing the 'magic of friendship', as well as contributeing meaningful things that'll hopefully enrich this experience for others. EDiT:- As you can see, I'm not very well-spoken.
