  1. this episode was soooooo good. I loved the part where pinkie defied gravity, the part where her clones destroy apple jacks work, and she was like ooh good, I didn't miss anything! and ofcourse the G3 reference. Great episode! so I good I think I wanna watch it again already
  2. Hey guys, I found this epic rant on Facebook defending Discord as a villain, you should all give it a read. Keep in mind I did not right it, but I do agree with it all the way: I am disappointed in you people. You automatically hate on something that doesn't deserve it. Let me explain to you why you are all wrong. You think that in order to be a good villain, a character must have some type of motivation. This is only half true. How I see it is, by following the D&D Alignment Grid, all the main villains can be categorized under Lawful Evil or Chaotic Evil. Nightmare Moon and Chrysalis are both Lawful Evil, where the ratio percentile of Lawful-to-Evil is 50/50 for Nightmare Moon and about 30/70 for Chrysalis. Now, I believe that not only is Discord Chaotic Evil, but so is King Sombra, except, they are on opposite sides of this spectrum. Discord would have a Chaotic-to-Evil of 90/10, and King Sombra would have one of 10/90. Why is this you ask? Well, Each of the three previous main villains did indeed have circumstantial-specific motives, but you see King Sombra has either not having enough of a motive, or no motive at all, and you see that as the problem. HOWEVER, that is, in fact, the answer. King Sombra had no specific motive to do what he did. Now if you look at that from an entirely different perspective, you would understand that HAVING NO MOTIVE WHATSOEVER TO CREATE AND DO EVIL, MAKES ONE EVIL EVEN MORESO. Let me ask you this: what person would you be more afraid of - a person that targets and kills specific type of people that perhaps have a shared trait, OR, a person who randomly kills anyone he sets his eyes upon? Your answer should be the latter, since you have a chance to avoid the first by not being the type of person the would want to kill; for the latter, you have no chance of avoiding an attack. THAT, is what King Sombra is. He created suffering and misery for the ponies of the Crystal Empire by putting them through pain and torture during his rule, and HE HAD NO REASON FOR HURTING THEM EXCEPT TO SIMPLY AND UTTERLY PUT THEM THROUGH PAIN, because he felt like it. He was described to have "a heart as black as night"... shouldn't that be evidence enough that he was indeed an evil being of a very high caliber? It certainly is for me. Once again, the MLP fandom has failed in realizing the true potential behind a character, regardless of how much story-involvement they had, and simply judged based on what they saw. You disgust me. (Note: And yes, I have King Sombra as my profile pic, because I'm not blind like most of you, and developed an honest and sincere appreciation for him as a character.)
  3. Pinkie Pie - I can relate to her the most. Generally doesn't let things get to her, always tries to make her friends happy, very energetic and loves to sing. Twilight - There's something about her I really like, but I have a hard time pin pointing it. I guess its mostly due to her getting paranoid about her studies and just overall dorkiness that's cute to me. Plus, she's the cutest filly Apple Jack - Hard working and honest, what's not to like? Rarity - I find her a bit under rated. What I really like about her is that one's first impressions of her can be very deceiving. At first I thought she was just a Tacky, fashion obsessed pony who had little concern for those around her. But the episode Suited for sucess proved me wrong and showed she'd work hard for her friends. Flutter shy - Maybe just a tad over rated. She has a lot of funny moments, and there's really nothing to dislike about her personality, other than the fact that it might be a little underdeveloped. There's not much much too her other than "the shy girl". I do like her, just less then the four above. Rainbowdash - I like her, but she's defiantly my least favorite of the mane 6. She's got the cool factor to her, but some times she can get on my nerves just a little, particularly in season 2. She had three episodes to her self that season, and all three don't really show her in a positive light if you ask me.
  4. Saw this video on youtube. It's really well edited I feel like it should have more views I laughed, imagin fandom spread like this?
  5. I'd be pretty upset if any of the mane six were to get killed. Especially if it was Pinkie Pie. If that were to happen, I think I'd just stop watching the show all together
  6. I'd say: Pinkie Pie: 18 Rainbowdash: 19 Fluttershy: 19 Twilight: 20 AppleJack: 22 Rarity: 22 Pinkie Pie is the most childlike of the group, but lives on her own, so I put her as the youngest at 18. Fluttershy is confirmed to be a year older than Pinkie, so that would make her 20. Dash and Fluttershy where in the same grade, so they're probably the same age, but fluttershy seems a bit more mature, so she's probably the older of the two, by atleast a few months. Twilight certainly seems to be more mature than most of the other ponies, but she also seems to have a bit of naivety to her for some reason. 20 seems appropriate. I'd say that AppleJack and Rarity are definitely older than the rest. I feel that they are both the more independent and mature ones of the group.
  7. Definately Pinkie Pie. She always makes me smile when she's on screen. Second choice would be Twilight, cause she's a cute hot mess
  8. but...but... its only going to be thirteen episodes, and season two took a lot less time to come than this one is taking and the episodes were quality! Seriously, these episodes better be pretty damn good!
  9. That's exactly what inspired me to make this thread! seriously, an announcement of and announcement!? I'm sure there is a reason, but I'd love to know what it is!
  10. Just my thoughts... Anypony else think it is taking forever? They have yet to release even an announce date! I wonder what the hold up is this year
  11. Season three is only getting 13 episodes? I really didn't know that. Is there a reason for this? I'm certain it'll be great though
  12. I don't think the CMC episodes are bad, per say, I just think that their shtick is getting old. Also, out of the 52 episodes that are out now, maybe 4 of them are pinky pie's? doesn't seem like enough
  13. seriously, it feels like she's really gotten the shaft. Also, l'd really like to see less of the cutie mark crusaders. Don't get me wrong, they're cute and everything, and I liked the Cutie Mark Chronicles, but I feel like they're getting stale
