Yes and honestly the only major reason is the permadeath. If these games allowed you to save mid game and retry from there, it would solved a lot of frustrations, but as they are currently designed, you can play for 2 hours and have one thing go wrong and have all of it be for nothing. It makes me not want to ever play the games again. I know they are classified as 'roguelikes' but it doesn't excuse this huge problem.

@Whompy, And it has Nobuo Uematsu behind the music. So many great talents brought together. I have heard the story and characters are...really silly, not in the best of ways either, but as a JRPG, it is apparently quite good.

Bloody hell! Trade weathers? I'd love to have a bit more sunshine over here right now. Typical end-of-winter rain for the week as far as I'm aware.
