Is it just me, or does everyone else sense 4chan?

I kinda have this weird feeling that 4chan is amongst us with threads' titles containing "what do?" and "discuss." either that or mlp forums has many internets.

Nobody from /b/ cares about gore.

I'm just saying when I look at a pony thread and see gore it makes me want to explore the other parts of /b/. It just takes the pony mood away

I go there frequently

Although, I act like a completely different person there than when I'm on a forum like this one

Internet memes are hardly limited to any one locale.

Yeah, 4chan's memes tend to spread around, much to the disdain of the userbase. And the whole pony craze started in /co/, afterall

I honestly know nothing about 4chan...

I took a look at the site and I don't really get what it is exactly...

Same here. It was not my kind of website, and felt I couldn't really see myself producing some sort of input. This forum is actually the first forum ive ever been on.

4chan is a imageboard, basically a place where every discussion is done mostly via posting images. You don't have to register to participate, but you can easily get a nickname.

There's more at 4vhan other than the infamous /b/, but sometimes it's just silly that everyone thinks that /b/ alone defines 4chan

The majority of Internet cultures originated on 4chan. Pretty much every meme ever came from 4chan, or was spread by 4chan. Nothing gets popular on the Internet without first going through 4chan, unless it also has popularity outside the Internet.

Basically, stuff from 4chan showing up is inevitable pretty much anywhere on the Internet.

Internet language has been used everywhere. I usually type my posts with as correct spelling and grammar as I possibly can, even though it really doesn't matter much. Although, I do like randomly quoting some memes at times. Y U NO LIEK PONI? Eh... I guess I had my fun.

I don't normally go onto 4chan unless there's absolutely nothing else to look at on the internet. /b/ isn't really my place... I don't even really understand the mentality of everyone, other than whenever someone says they're a girl, everyone else will say "PICS NAO." I'd usually have a look at /co/ or /v/ when I'm there.

4chan used to be a fun place to hang out on the internet but it kinda got old. I check it out occasionally, mostly just to do a little light lurking for funny pictures, but I'll admit, lots of the lingo has rubbed off on me.

I feel sorry for everyone who wasnt around in the old days of /b/. Back when it wasn't 99% complete morons. Back when memes were funny, threads were epic, and people actually knew how to troll.

Back when REAL anon still hung out there, basically.

Old /b/ was awesome. Current /b/ isn't worth the second it takes to load.

My only personal experience with 4chan was having a server hacked by a 4chan member back in 2004. I didn't lose any data and I was able to put the fire out, but the experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. I try to stay away from the place at all costs.

I do laugh at some of the Internet memes that float up from 4chan, but then I have a tendency to laugh at almost anything remotely funny. So, yeah....
