Discord's Reformation and Future

I recently made a YouTube video analyzing Discord's reformation:

 

This got me thinking: what is Discord's future in Equestria?

 

If you're not willing to watch all 11 minutes of my video, here's what I'd like to see:

1. His backstory.
2. Bonding with the Mane Six.
3. Helping the CMC get their cutie marks.
4. DisLestia...please?

I actually think it would be very sweet of Discord help the Cutie Mark Crusaders find their Cutie Marks. I can see that forming a special bond between the 4, and Discord becoming a hero for them to look up to. ^^

I think Discord still has lots of potential for Season 5. I'd love to see a episode with him and the CMCs (I loved the Friends Forever comic of that) and wouldn't mind if he got an episode to himself.

I am so much in the minority it would seem, but I still don't agree with nor have I enjoyed Discords reform. The problem for me is I enjoyed Discord as a villain, most everything I enjoyed about him was lost because of his 'reform'.

 

He was dangerous, he was manipulative, he was funny... and yet his sense of 'fun' and humor came at the expense of others. I still feel Discord in Return of Harmony was the best villian to be added in MLP:FiM.

 

I apologize... but I just cannot see the good so many others can in Discord's reform.

I don't mind Discord being reformed, it helps us get more Discord and accidental chaos.

 

I'm not one to yell yay or nay for certain shipping of characters because It doesn't really matter to me.

Well I am, I yell nay to the idea of Celestia and Discord being a couple.

I really want him to stay the way he was in the seasons 2 => 4.

Hopefully now Discord will make a few more appearances in the show, though since he lives in Canterlot, I suppose he can just teleport to Ponyville at will. I think he's still got a bit to learn about friendship, so there is likely to be an episode about that like Keep Calm and Flutter On. We may even see the history of Discord / Celestia & Luna!

Though I believe he might end up as a go-to character when facing whacky troubles much like he has in previous episodes such as Twilight's Kingdom and Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Discord already tried to help the Crusaders get their cutie marks in one of the friends forever comics, so I don't think they'd just do the same thing in the show.

I too love the idea of Discord helping the CMC find their Cutie Marks, this would be one of the best things that could happen I think
