You could get away with a lot of crap in old cartoons that they won't allow nowadays. As for why Tirek himself as a character chose to imprison them versus just offing them, think about where he just came from. Besides, they didn't have any magic at all, they would've been stuck there either forever or for a very long time if Twilight and her friends hadn't of defeated Tirek. I've become a gigantic fan of G1 ever since I got into the show, and I think it would be awesome if G1 was canon in some way. If Tirek is the same... then Megan only delayed him coming back to destroy everything. Then again, Scorpan is apparently Tirek's brother in G4, but I don't think they said whether or not he was his brother back then either, even if he was really a human... So I'd like to think that you're right and they're one in the same. Ash 5,091 June 9, 2014 Share June 9, 2014 I've actually began to write a fan fiction based on Twilight's Kingdom, only that instead of the rainbow powers giving Twilight immense magic, the six keys reopen the Rainbow bridge, allowing Megan, who is now 10 years older, to help defeat Tirek! Oh that sounds freaking sweet! Whenever you post it up somewhere, link it here so that we (but mostly me) can read it. I'd really like to see a story that bridges the gap between G1 and G4 really well. There's probably a few fanfics out there that do crossover Generations already, but I don't know where to look for them to be honest. *Bane voice* When Equestria is in ashes, you have my permission to die. The princesses were trapped in Tartarus, where they remained there doing nothing but possibly hoping for the best.
