I liked that episode, it showed a lot of pinkie pie goodness while give some of the spot light to a little talked about race in the MLP universe. it would be nice if the talked about the donkey/mules place in Equestria.

like if any of them have magical abilities or if their all just like earth ponies with a different look.

I think it would have been nice to have seen more of these - they seem to represent an (ex?)-underclass of sorts in Equestria, who are now officially equal to ponies - or at least, as equal as you can get without magic or pretty colours.
