What Took You So Long?

I joined this forum three years after I became a fan (yeah, that's a long time).

No joke, I joined these forums 2 days after I became a boogy brone guy. I was quite familiar with forums overall before and I immediately though, what if there is an MLP Forum? So I typed in MLP Forum and look what I found! MLP Forums. I was thinking "Yeah that works".

I joined here about 3 months after becoming a fan, which isn't really that long. I searched up a question I had on Google and boom, I found this place. I only really interact with other fans on here and very rarely DeviantArt.

I had been a brony for about 4 years (2013-2016) and I've joined the forums 4 years later, which is March 2021.

I became a fan of this show in Dec2020 and joined this forum in Jan2021. So for an unknown reason I've got the feeling this topic is addressing me xD

The reason for me joining it so late is rather simply: I don't have enough time to watch every show in existence ( so for another example I also havent seen Duck Tales 2017 until this very day). Considering I was really professional busy in the 2010s and I'm outside of the target audience and of age group who could catch this easily on TV etc it was not so easy to find and get into it. I knew there was a uncommon adult fandom around this show for some time but still hadn't the time to check it out.

Without the lockdown and the curfew for weeks which hit my place here at the end of 2020 I wouldn't have found my way into it. This gave so much time (or rather enforced time on me) that I could spent enough time on internet to came across it by mere chance, watch a reaction and then start the series and later joined the forum :>

Took me 1 month to actually start posting after I created my account. It was a big step to take. Worth it!

I didn't really care enough to join a MLP forum, only decided to do it when the show was near the end - I figured that even if the show is over, it may be interesting to talk with people about it.

I kept browsing through it via Equestria Daily until I decided to make an account. Now I use this place as my main pony website instead of EQD.
