Anyway! Review time! I'm gonna write a review and C/P it below when I'm done.

 

Kid Icarus Uprising is the newest installment in the Kid Icarus franchise, a series many thought to be dead.

However, from the people that worked on Smash Brothers Brawl, is Kid Icarus Uprising!

Now, I'll be honest here, I never got very far in the NES release. It was way to difficult for my tastes, as

well as having rather slippery controls. However, here in the 3DS release, it is quite easy to pick up and play,

without any knowledge of the previous titles. The game operates as such: Pit, an angel, goes through an on rail

shooter section in the sky, shooting enemies and collecting hearts, all complete with snappy commentary between

Pit and the various gods you meet. The controls in the on rail section work well, regardless of what the

Irategamer says(does anyone listen to him anyway?). You control Pit with the circle pad, (which feels like it

was made to control on rail shooters) shoot with the L Button, and aim with the stylus.At first the controls

feel akward, but throughout the first chapter I became accustomed to them. After the great onrail shooter section,

it's onto the ground. On ground sections have the same basic controls as the sky sections, however, you can

spin the camera around Pit. At the end of each chapter you defeat a boss.

While the formula seems repetitive, it stays fresh with many diverse enviroments, and jaw dropping plot twists.

The plot is as follows: Medusa is revived, and it's up to Pit and his commander, Lady Palutena, to defeat her.

Simple storyline? Well, say that after finished chapter 18.

Overall, Kid Icarus: Uprising is an amazing reboot to a long lost fanfavorite franchise, with diverse enviorments,

spectacular voice acting, and don't even get me started on the graphics. Don't let this game pass you by simply

for being on a handheld/Nintendo system. This game is a must buy for any fans of on rail shooters, adventure game

fans, and graphic whores(excuse my language.).

 

Gameplay - Although the controls are hard to adjust to, the gameplay is fresh, entertaining and fun.

Graphics - Absolutely amazing. 3D effects are a treat as well.

Voice Acting - Some of the best I've heard.

Story - Although an overall basic story line, the plot takes many twists.

collected all the Zodiac Weapons? I just finally found the palm today and have officially found them all! However, there still seem to be some weapons that I'm not allowed access to yet... Hm...

 

 

Well Tom, I finally know why you love orbiters because I just got some "Boom Orbiters" lvl 285 that were on sale at Palutena's weapon shop. They are SO AWESOME!!! /)^3^( I want to have a rematch some time today

I just got the game 3 days ago, and I love it! I'm at chapter 11 now. the only thing I don't like is that I'm a lefty without the circle pad pro I'm an arm and palm user.
