It was a bit of a trick question. 1 raised to any power is 1, so each term is just multiplied by 1 and this just becomes 6-2+1-42+105. Which is 68.

 

Hmm... perhaps I should just randomly ask some maths questions now and then?    And I'll be nicer to your count if you get it right. I'll probably make them multiple choice from now on to make it a bit easier.
