Apparently the number 7 is considered lucky due to religion/ancient magical belief. In Christian scripture it is referred to over and again. Also in Chinese tradition apparently.

Also it is also one of the 'most' prime numbers.

 

I honestly think it's just a tradition or folklore behind it being lucky.

 

Side note:

I do know that in Psychology that the human mind remembers 7 plus or minus two. So perhaps it stemmed from that in ancient times because that's just the easiest thing for our minds to comprehend.

Well that's just my 2 cents anyway lol

I'm pretty sure my maximum memory is 5. I'm pretty poor at memory games.
