Rarity Paige Belle 1,854 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 They charge upwards of £3/$5 for coffee when it costs pennies to make! Beautiful, Stylish, Fabulous AND evil! What more could you want? Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 Sounds like a ripoff, but yet again all I go to Starbucks is for the Wi-fi! Ezio Auditore 702 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 Ehhh, it depends on how you look at it really, it's true they're more expensive than say "Dunkin' Donuts" but people who are more snobbish (not in a bad way) about their coffee will pay that extra money for some higher quality coffee. Snowbrezze 100 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 it could be worst if they charge us $37.00
(MARVEL) Blue Blood 991 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 I've never had coffee before, so I wouldn't know. However, only costing pennies to make and charging $5 is a big ripoff, especially if the coffee is poorly made. Second in Command of the Marvel Alliance!!! FlitterFlutter 1,583 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 I don't know if I would go as far as saying the biggest rip off ever, but yes It is a rip off. Then again it can't be as bad as Beats headphones. Credit to Kiki

NightGuard 251 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 Over at the gas station by my house it's only $1.79 and that's much better than Starbucks as you can add Vanilla, Sugar, Cream, and more... . _Kurtis 636 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 I have to agree with @Ezio Auditore on this one. A lot of people who have coffee on a regular basis most likely would pay a couple of dollars extra for higher quality coffee, but if Starbucks coffee is cheaply made and/or isn't high quality I'd say it's a rip-off.

Twilight The Creator 298 July 24, 2014 Share July 24, 2014 For me, not really. It's not like the coffee costs $10+ dollars, and I've always preferred fraps from there. Plus you can just relax at the store as it's very relaxing there. Plus free Wi-Fi. Kill People, Burn Shit, Fuck School. -Tyler the Creator
SkyDream 315 July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 I'd say that the environment is a big factor in the cost. They present something that you definitely don't get from a gas station or a 7-11. I don't know how much that extra environment is worth in terms of pricing, but it's something.
Guest July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 (edited) I only go there for Frappucinos ( ) but yer they're rather pricey for what they are. Edited July 25, 2014 by Guest
IcyHaze 594 July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 Yup. I'd rather make 100 cups of instant coffee for 2 dollars. I hope some people get the joke ^^

Frith is Magick 1,471 July 25, 2014 Share July 25, 2014 It's a huge rip off; you can make your own coffee at home (good coffee in quality machine, not just instant) for much cheaper. The act that I usually get 3-4 shots of espresso in my coffee whenever I go there doesn't help the price, but every now and again the extra little kick is worth it.
