Hey guys.. so i was looking on Steam for a "Bronies" group to join and maybe even find some bronies to play games with, so i typed in "Bronies" and guess what i found.. a long list of groups hating on poines, this would be okay,.. but some of the thing they were saying.. and some of the names... i dont understand why people cant just let us get on with it? i mean, MLP has nothing bad about it? the story only tried to give GOOD lessons, and people fight agenst it? i mean, people think if you're a guy, liking MLP makes you gay.. how does that work? i dont understand? I know for a FACT that in the 90's every GUY i knew watched Power Puffgirls.. but thats not gay? hmm.. well here is some of the people who need to grow up and understand that the world does not revolve around them!

I would also like to say, as i was getting these links.. alot of them have the word "Unite" or "United" in the name of the group.. hmm, im sorry but does United mean, loads of people?

I saw and read the thread, and I have two things to say to that. First, why rise up against them if the biggest group only has 30 members? They'll die off. Plus, any guild or group that operates on hate will not last. Second, I thought MLP:FiM was all about love and tolerance? Doesn't mean we ignore the "threat", but responding in hate makes us just like them.

 

Just remember. They're missing out.

People are allowed to have their own opinions, and they are allowed to express their annoyance at some of the overly-enthusiastic bronies who see the need to shove MLP related stuff down everyone's throats until they become completely sick of it, regardless of the time or place.

 

Love and tolerate them quietly, and from afar. Respect their opinions and leave it at that.

I feel compelled, as a pedant and a dedicated wordsmith, to correct your spelling of "against" - not out of malice, of course, but purely out of a desire for shared standards of spelling for the ease of communication (also because I subconsciously and involuntarily judge people with bad spelling, but mainly that first thing).

 

 

As for the subject topic itself, anti-pony groups are nothing new, and neither is any of their bovine excrement regarding the apparent homosexuality of the members of this fandom, and their assertions that said sexuality is objectively morally wrong. I would encourage you to do as I do - ignore them if you can, and fight them with the purest of logic where you cannot. The castles they have built themselves out of bricks forged from lies and mortar mixed from irrationality wane and erode in the presence of reason - and in their ruins you must give them every opportunity to redeem themselves; after all, violence begets violence!

Going to say what I usually say about things like this: Hate groups feed on the anger they cause. Showing that they annoy you gives them what they want, and going out of your way to make announcements just makes the problem worse.
