Pinkie pie I don't think would have children either.

I don't know about that in the episode Baby Cakes it clearly shows that she likes kids, granted as she admitted at the end of the episode she thought babysitting the Cake twins would be easy and a great excuse for extra play time but was a lot more difficult than she expected. Of course that episode also established Pinkie Pie as the baby sitter/de facto nanny of the Cake twins so I think it is likely that she might a foal of her own someday. Even if she dosen't get a baby the old fashioned way it is plausible for her to adopt a baby.

That I could understand, adopting or becoming like a godparent to someone elses children. I don't know, just something about pinkie pie and her own children doesn't connect with me.

Heh, I wouldn't care either way...  I'd just like to see more about each ponies family they have already.  I'd like to see RD continuing to play her new role as Scoot's older sister.  I'd like to see more memories from their childhoods, too, like what we saw when they showed how each pony got their cutie mark... as well as Twilight and Shining Armor...  

Don't get me wrong, I ain't complainin' in the least bit, I'm just saying I really like the potential there is with the family back-stories that have already been hinted upon, as well as the new ones that have been made (RD and Scootaloo).  

 

 

Though ironically, I don't know how I feel about learning anything more about Applejack's parents.  The whole "her parents were the shooting stars theory" is very intriguing, and emotional.  I kind of like that sense of unknown mysterious-ness about it.  It kind of adds depth by just leaving it as it is, if that makes sense.  Idk.

I wouldn't want all of them to have kids. Applejack, rarity, and fluttershy since they are motherly. Rainbowdash wouldn't have the time to slow down and think about those things. Twilight maybe, but just one. Pinkie pie I don't think would have children either.

 

But It would be cute to see some of them have children way in the future, but not all of them, and not during the timeline of the show. Maybe as an epilogue.

Eh. I don't feel like it'd be all that great, Maybe for a few or something, maybe have their lives a little bit in the future, but idk...

 

I don't think i'd hate it, but I don't know if i'd say it's awesome.

 

I'm feeling pretty neutral on it right now. Maybe even inclined to say I wouldn't want it to happen.

 

Part of me feels seeing them have children would be a really weird cheesy ending, but part of me feels like it might be cute and interesting to see.

Ehhhh, I'd rather we avoid that unless a pony actually has a developed relationship and the stallion isn't some copy-&-paste stallion.

 

I mean I tend to fear that showing pregnancy & birth in a show like this (as in one of the main characters) might send a mixed message to young girls.

Unless it was the absolute final season of MLP, my opinion is no. I think it would take away the focus of the mane 6's interactions with their own interactions with kids (assuming they all had children). I'm sure other cartoons have probably made it work, but I'm too lazy to look it up, so don't call me out on my lack of examples.

I'm pretty sure a lot of bronies would lose their shit. Not because of their ships being sunk, but because it would be jumping the shark, sort of how some bronies reacted to Cadance, Twilicorn, and EQG.
