On this list I think Babs is most likely to return.

I think at the very least, Trixie and the Flim Flam Brothers would be good for another return since each of them has had two episodes. It could be a three episode arc for each. Maud Pie should come back and maybe Cheese Sandwich. Seeing Gilda again might allow for a new lesson to be learned as well.

Well since Cheese Sandwich isn't on the list (I would have picked him though.  I loooooooooooove Weird Al, and I think him and Pinkie make a great team), I picked Prince Blueblood.  His obnoxious selfishness is hilarious, and I'd love to see more of that.

Definitely Daring do and ahuizotl. Daring Don't was one of my favorite Season 4 episodes, and Reas it and Weep is on my top 10r 20 Best episode list.

I'd like to see a fair few characters to return, but the ones I want to see the most are Babs Seed, Trixie and a key giver. All three of them should make an appearance in Season 5 after the events of Season 4.

Lightning Dust coming back would make me squee like a filly. She contrasts with Rainbow Dash in too many interesting ways to be benched after only one episode, and the ending of Wonderbolt Academy made her future very open-ended. Does she resent Rainbow Dash and/or the Wonderbolts for getting between her and her dream? Is her goal of being a Wonderbolt really out of reach for her? What does a pony who chases their dreams with such relentless, even cold-blooded, determination do when that dream is suddenly snatched away? I wanna know . I want Rainbow Dash to be disgusted by her, but also help her grow as a person because she sees something of herself in Lightning. I want a lot of things

 

On a lesser level, Cheese Sandwich, Trixie and Coco Pommel would be pretty sweet too. Also Gilda, but I'd prefer a flashback episode for her.
