What Yu-Gi-OH! Card Game decks would ponies play: my ideas + post urs!

Yu-Gi-Oh! card game is full of interesting deck types with various themes. Maybe we can attribute ponies with such decks! here are my ideas for Main Six!

 

Twilight Sparkle - Gagaga (due to being like student to Celestia- it goes well with the apprenticeship theme of the archetype

 

Pinkie Pie - Madolche (Madolche is a dessert theme archetype, kind of an obvious choice)

 

Rainbow Dash - Hunder (a Thunder-based archetype, plus the speed of the deck fits in well too.)

 

Fluttershy - Sylvan (a calm, nature theme archetype)

 

Rarity - Crystal Beast (Gem-themed archetype)

 

Applejack - Dododo (Brute strength based archetype)

 

What are your ideas for decks to attribute different MLP characters. Give the thread your thoughts!

Applejack: Warrior/beatdown deck

 

Rainbow Dash: Elemental Hero deck

 

Fluttershy: Naturia deck

 

Rarity: Crystal Beast deck

 

Pinkie Pie: Toon deck

Twilight would use a Dark Magician deck. I don't care that Dark Magician sucks, I just want to hear her yell, "I SUMMON THE DARK MAGICIAN"

Celestia uses Exodia

 

I tried playing Yu-gi-oh against like a year ago with my brother. I stopped trying after he destroyed my whole hand the first turn with a bunch of wind up toys.

I don't know why, but when I think of fluttershy I keep thinking of the gladiator beast type deck. I doubt fluttershy would stand for creating warriors out of harmless animals, but it keeps appearing in my mind

Fluttershy: Naturia

Pinkie Pie: Any anti-meta deck (So that she could laugh at her opponent when she/he's trying to find out a way out)

Applejack: Gladiator Beast (Hope I spelled it right)

Rainbow Dash: Elemental Hero or any insta-win deck (like Exodia or Final Countdown, because thanks to those decks you can win raelly fast, which Rainbow Dash would love)

Celestia: Lightsworn

Luna: Dark Crystal Beast

Trixie: Blue Eyes White Dragon or Red Eyes Black Dragon

Cadance: Again, Crystal Beast

Sweetie Belle: Cyber Dragon (Because of that Sweetie Bot thing )

I have no idea about Applebloom

Scootaloo: Hieratic Dragon (I don't know why )

King Sombra: Evil Hero or Dark Crystal Beast

Discord: Sacred Beast (The gods of GX)

Spike: Stardust, Quasar or Hieratic Dragon

Tirek: Exodia

Twilight Sparkle: some type of magician deck. Oh or maybe a friendship OTK deck (it exists)

Applejack: Some type of beatdown deck like cyber dragons

Pinkie Pie: I could see her being toons, anti-meta, or wind-ups

Rainbow Dash: Exodia, or some other really fast moving deck

Rarity: Crystal Beast all the way.

Fluttershy: While Sylvans are better I believe Naturia is more suited to her

Twilight-Spellbooks of course. Helps that they're pretty combo-y and take a bit of thought to pilot.

 

Applejack-Geargia. Thematically, something with Plants would be far better of course, but this deck is Applejack. Consistent, reliable, strong, and it's still Earth.

 

Pinkie Pie-Madolche. Though she might switch to something else after she discovers just how much Tiaramasu can piss people off

 

Rainbow Dash- Elemental Hero. Shiny, colorful, flashy, heroic, fun, seems like something she'd go for.

 

Fluttershy- Stall/Final Countdown. Disliker of confrontation that she is, Fluttershy doesn't like playing in a way where she has to destroy things or battle. She also doesn't understand that this is one of the meanest and most rage-inducing ways to play the game

 

Rarity- Crystal Beasts. Cause shiny. Suppose she could come up with some creative OTK that would suit her just as well.

 

Spike- annihilates everyone with Dragon Rulers . Who'd have thought a child could be good at a children's card game?

 

Celestia-Lightsworn, duh. She has a card named after her for pony's sake.

 

Luna-Constellars? I feel like there's something better that I'm not thinking of. All I know is that she throws big royal tantrums when Celly sacks her with Judgment Dragon. Trollestia indeed.

Mare Do Well (even though technically RD's friends): Masked heroes

Ooh, I like these . The Mare Do Well thing in particular too if Dash is playing regular Heroes. Kinda a smack in the face to use the more modern and competitive version of what she plays .

Applejack: Amazoness because they're tough women

Spike would run a Red Eyes Black Dragon deck(Like Atticus Rhodes.) though he may have two non dragon cards, such as Summoned Skull and Skull Archfiend of Lightning for fusion material.

(duel between Spike and Rainbow Dash)

 

Spike: I sacrifice my Red Eyes Black Chick and call forth Red Eyes Black Dragon!

(Red Eyes Black Dragon replaces the chick, Spike then reveals a Spell card.)

Spike: Next I play, Inferno Fire Blast! Now by not attacking, my Red Eyes can attack you directly!!

(Red Eyes blasts Rainbow Dash's LP for 2400 points of damage)

 

His fusion deck should include

 Black Skull Dragon

Archfiend Black Skull Dragon

Five Headed Dragon

and spell cards such as Future Fusion and Dragon's Mirror.
