Null_account 144 August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 So today at school we were in groups and we asked questions. One of them was,"who is your hero and why?" I answered Lauren Faust, mostly because I couldn't think of anyone else. So, who is your hero and why? "I know the sun must set to rise." Noei 718 August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 hmmm.......that is difficult. If it must be a real person , I think I should go with Victor Hugo, my favorite writer of all times.......( yikes! ) If it can be a fictional character , well....... 2 By MiniKirby123

Creamy Arty 6,252 August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 This is something I've thought about a lot since I was little, as it was a common question in school from both peers and teachers. Assignments were given for us to write about or put together a display of some kind talking about our heroes and what they mean to us. To be honest, throughout all of my childhood, I could never think of one. Everyone else cited an athlete, except for a couple who cited a musician. Never because of the person's altruism or any praiseworthy traits of character, only because of their wealth or something they had done to earn them their fame. To me these things were always worthless. I looked for somebody on whom to base my character; somebody who could show me how to be a man of noble convictions, never finding any. All these years later as I revisit the question, I can only think of one man that will no doubt be lauded in here by several other people to come. Mr. Rogers. I watched his show as a child but somehow forgot about it and him along the way. Such is childhood. Reflecting though, I think he actually had a great impact on me. I'd also like to bring this up: And it's something I firmly believe in. All of the people I've known throughout my life who have had a kind word to spare or a reassuring touch. The relatively tiny portion of people who have shown me the smallest amount of kindness stand out in my memory above the multitude who have sought to do me harm, and for them I have the utmost gratitude and respect. And so, whenever I can, I try to do somebody a good turn, a solid, offer whatever help or edification I can during a time of hardship. I believe these are the people who can do the most good for this world. 5 Kyoshi made this ^^ Come join us on Equestria.tv on Fridays at 6 PM Eastern for our weekly movie nights! Ryzu 984 August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 Natsu Dragneel and Gajeel Redfox from Fairy Tail. The way Natsu fearlessly fights for the people he cares about, never caring about the odds or the cost, and most importantly; never giving up. Beaten to a pulp Natsu stands back up and keeps on going, no matter how many times it takes, he WILL protect his comrades. Gajeel; not gonna explain. It would be kinda hard to, although if you wanna try and figure out what I'm trying to explain you can watch what I'd be speaking of. Being an outcast myself, and also having dark mistakes in the past, he is easily my biggest hero. And I won't allow you to blind those who are important to me! Looking for some friends to chat with? Hovershy 3,814 August 13, 2014 Share August 13, 2014 My dad is my hero. He died from brain cancer about 3 and a half years ago, I was 14 years old. My dad was such a good man, always putting others before himself, especially his kids. He has done so much for me and I am so grateful. He also had a strong love for animals and nature, and taught me to appreciate the world. He also raised me to respect and be tolerant of others who have different views. I really, really miss him. 5 Fluttershy Fan Club sig by Blue Snowfire
