I have something I have to tell you." you'll make it sound like it's something bad. a good way to do it is to play an episode on your laptop without headphones or on the tv in the family room or the kitchen and wait for one of your family to enter. "what are you watching." then just casually say "my little pony." if you want to find people who like my little pony then try quoting it. I've found someone just by doing the fluttershy yay. you could always try "eeeyup!" "twenty percent cooler!" or my personal favourite "this is the worst possible thing!"
