It's honestly worth full price if you ask me.

I already have it on the PS3 and beat the shit out of it, so for me it would be a replay and thus not quite as fun as going around for the first time.

As glorious as PC gaming is, I just can't help but think about it like this:

FPS oddly doesn't bug me that much as long as it's above the upper-40s and consistent.

I wonder, if consoles became more like PCs on TVs that are made ONLY for games if the line between consoles and PC would become smaller. Because, honestly, a desk isnt the best environment for gaming (gives too much of an office vibe), and keyboard controls always feel stiff to me.  Having to run using a button instead of just slightly pushing the Left Stick forward is quite annoying. Also, people say a Mouse is more accurate, but while i been able to land many shots in FPSs with a controller, its much harder with Mouse.

You could always take your PC to the TV and hook it up over an HDMI connection, then plug in a controller. It'd be easier with a microATX or mini-ITX build, though.

After playing so many games on PC with M&K, playing games like FPS will never feel the same with a controller. You're probably used to shooting with a controller. If you play a game like CoD on PC, after a while, you'll never want to go back. You probably haven't played enough shooters on PC.

Also, other genres like MMOs, RTS, and simulators feel tighter, too, and there are some games that just can't be played with a controller.

I wish people quoted so i knew when i was being responded to. Anyway, yeah, K&M works good with some shooters and especially RTSs, but with platformers and driving games (if you are lacking a steering wheel controller), a controller works best

Haha, my bad :P . Yeah, platformers and driving games usually control like ass with a K&M, but that's why I hook an Xbox 360 controller up, and most PC games now are controller optimized without the need to install annoying drivers. Like, any game on steam after, say 2007, just plug in and it's already set up like it is on console, and games like GTA: SA, which needed specific drivers, were patched to support 360 controller without the hassle.

I'd rather play my PC games on a PC monitor, playing PC games on a big screen just feels weird. :P  And my monitor is big enough for when I play a game with a controller, I just sit back in my big comfy recliner without needing to walk over and sit in front of a big screen.

 I just remembered, I haven't turned my 40" LED on in months. I can't remember what it's like to play on console.

My TV has a lower resolution than both my monitors, 1680x1050. A resolution you normally see on the PC.

That's an extremely weird resolution.

That's an extremely weird resolution.

It was the most popular PC resolution for gaming for the longest time. That now goes to 1920x1080, but 1050p was the resolution for gaming for a long time.

I think the reason i havent got a PC is the same reason I havent got a PS4 (my brother owns the one i play on) or an Xbox ONE: Im happy with my 360, and will most likely get a PS3 and perhaps a Wii U (only current gen, 360 PS3 and Wii are last gen, console i plan on getting in the near future because of backwards compatability) before I get a current gen console or PC.

Hilarious. For me, I would love it if more of my games could run at 144FPS (or unfortunately in some cases not capped).

Personally I like office environment, though that may be because I do more than just play games on PC. As well I cannot easily revert back to using one monitor after having used two.

From someone who has used mouse and keyboard most of time, using controller to play FPS games feel extremely loose and I can't imagine at all how RTS games available on consoles work. For games like AC, it feels fine with mouse and keyboard, but I am ignorant on how such game plays with controller.

Thank you for not saying "Next-Gen". People must stop calling 8th generation consoles "Next-Gen" because it simply isn't. It's current-gen.

I tried Halo Wars, which is a console RTS. It was terrible, and they actually put effort into translating RTS controls to a controller. But nope, it was way too limited in terms of buttons and felt terrible.

I actually prefer run buttons far more, despite me liking controllers better.

I could go both ways as far as how I play a game - controller or keyboard. Controllers are better than keyboards for driving because they do have analog inputs (triggers and sticks - you've got more control over acceleration, braking, and steering) but any mouse is far superior to gamepads for aiming things.

I refuse to let go until you're impressed.

Anyone else got GTA V? Me and  are looking for some more players for GTA Online.

Soon™

I entered into that PC contest Rockstar is hosting, where one person wins a GTA V themed PC with two Titan X's. I'm totally going to win.

But if that plan falls through somehow, I should be building a PC in June. It won't have Titan X sli, but it should work,

Am i the only one who hopes they will eventually make a console that can compete with PC? Because part of me is afraid eventually everyone will be FORCED to buy a PC (because the console market would be dead) and the days of playing games on the sofa and splitscreen will be over.
