long gone 8,929 June 1, 2015 Share June 1, 2015 Fragmenwhat? A lot of support for older Windows things will drop, too. So, basically all of the good PC games won't be playable. long gone 8,929 June 1, 2015 Share June 1, 2015 XP Situation? SPEAK ENGLISH PLEASE You know how some people are sticking by Windows XP, even though it's an outdated POS? Some haven't even upgraded to SP3 yet. That is EXACTLY what Microsoft wants to avoid.

You don't fully understand the extent of the problem. There's places like businesses that handle sensitive information and things like ATMs still using XP despite it now being a huge security risk that there's no way to patch up and MS advising against time and time again. 3 "You know, I don't know who or what you are Methos, and I know you don't want to hear this, but you did teach me something. I think anyway, someone can correct me if I'm wrong. The Magic of Honesty
repsol rave 2,963 June 2, 2015 Share June 2, 2015 (edited) so, anybody planning on getting the 980Ti anytime soon? i definitely did not expect it to be a trimmed down version of the Titan X. for performance they're just too close to eachother to make the Titan's price tag make sense Edited June 2, 2015 by repsol rave 1 My OC's: Roarke, Repsol and Crystal

I'm not interested in game development or anything, and I think for gaming, the 970 has the best price to performance ratio. At least until the gtx 1000 or 1100 series comes out. long gone 8,929 June 2, 2015 Share June 2, 2015 To be honest, even though I still doubted its existence, I found a Titan X with 256 less cores, half the RAM and a cut-down amount of SMMs more believable than the early rumors of it being an overclocked Titan X with half the RAM. How would anyone even think that made sense, for Nvidia to release a Titan with half the RAM but higher clocks? That'd just render the Titan X even more pointless, even as an e-peen card.

I'm going to use Steam now A question: The money off of refunds is still locked in your steam account, right? Also, are there any limits on the amount of refunds? long gone 8,929 June 3, 2015 Share June 3, 2015 "You will be issued a full refund of your purchase within a week of approval. You will receive the refund in Steam Wallet funds or through the same payment method you used to make the purchase. If, for any reason, Steam is unable to issue a refund via your initial payment method, your Steam Wallet will be credited the full amount. (Some payment methods available through Steam in your country may not support refunding a purchase back to the original payment method. Click here for a full list.)"From the announcement page. They are committed to refunding you through the same payment method you used to pay for the product, unless they are unable to (e.g. country-based restrictions, payment processor down.) Celli 4,338 June 3, 2015 Share June 3, 2015 Is it possible to game with a intel 8-core and ram and no graphics card and also can I do this with a visshera too? That depends on whether or not you have integrated graphics on the motherboard. Most LGA board have integrated Intel graphics, but you might not get that great gaming performance. Ah it's because iv seen people use 4 core anthlon's and 8 gb of ram, and they were able to run it at 60fps by oc'ing the ram at medium settings. So I would think if I bought a visshera and fast ram It would work the same, but sounds like the negative effects would be more exaggerated.
