Does a normal laptop count?

Lenovo x230:

  • Intel® Core™ i5-3320M (2.60 GHz, 3MB L3, 1600MHz FSB)
  • Windows 7 Professional 64
  • 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM 1600 MHz
  • 500GB HDD (7200rpm)
  • 12.5" HD LED 1366x768
  • Intel® HD 4000 Graphics

Although it seems quite bad, it can run some decent games at low settings such as dying light.

Oh and um, ALL HAIL GABEN AND THE MASTER RACE!

Very good! I r8 8/8 str8, m8.

On a more serious note, remember to spend more on the GPU than the CPU.

Websites like those are usually incorrect about the information that they put out at least from what I've found.

It would be nice if their information could be trusted but it can't.

Thats why i wish Steam had a built in system requirements scanner. Another thing i think Steam should have is a subsciption service where you can download and play any game you want at any time for a monthly fee. You must be online when you start the "rented" game, but if your internet connection gets interrupted you wont be forced out of the game, but if you exit the game, you must reconnect in order to relaunch the game. I hope what i am saying makes sense, im not good with words.

Steam is already a rental service. Instead of paying a monthly fee, you pay for each individual game.

Not really. I think Valve even promised their last act with it would be to strip out all their DRM and leave up that way long enough for people to back their games up if they ever shut it down (which is unlikely considered how massive and profitable it is)

What about Xbox emulation?

Come on gais

I kno it's hard

But dat system is so gud

I imagine we lack one because it doesn't have exclusive power the PS2 or Gamecube had. 90% of the good stuff on it is cross-platform.

Most of the exclusives had PC ports, but the console versions were always much more fun.

Well, i saw the latest Steam controller update. Yeah, dont like where the buttons are positioned. But i think I have a solution: move the AB XY buttons to the top of the controller as small bumper buttons. A and B would be near the Right Bumper, while X and Y would be near the Left Bumper. May take some getting used to, but soon you would be able to play games without removing your thumbs from WASD Pad/Analog Stick or Touchpad. You just slightly move your index fingers to the buttons you want to use. The mini bumpers would also be color coded.

I was gifted Witcher 3. Usually being able to play games like BF4 on near max settings and run 60FPS, I was saddened that Witcher 3 only reached around 60FPS on lowest settings; must deal with 30-40FPS range. Feels like console player.

Generally I have disinterest in medieval fantasy RPGs, but friend insisted that game is a masterpiece and insisted that I must play it to the point that a copy was gifted to me. I have it so I'm giving the game a chance, see if its quality will exceed my disinterest in the genre. Will say I'm quite impressed by the game so far.

So I just found out MINUTES ago that Estonia isn't an eligible country to get the Witcher 3 promotion:  which means I won't get The Witcher 3 with my GTX 960.

My reaction:

Plus some of the PC parts prices rised, which means I have to save a bit more to buy GTA 5.

DOUBLE NNNOOOOOOOOOO

i think it's because making something like that would be pretty hard to do.

other than making buttons and fitting them on the controller, you'd have to solder the actual switchess off of the PCB (or find very tiny switches somewhere) and make a new PCB for the new position.

and then you'd have to fit all of that in to the controller again! :o

if you can make it work tough, dayum. color me impressed! :P

Arena: Addicting dungeon-looter

Daggerfall: The game that will exceed every expectation you have for it

Morrowind: *gushes for 9 hours*

Oblivion: Fun, with awesome quests

Skyrim: Burn in hell
