Cyborg Superman wasn't even really a Superman. He was some astronaut who went bonkers and got fitted with robot parts.

Ooh, other weird thing about Superman's weaknesses: the whole kryptonite thing wasn't even originally from the comics. It was introduced in the radio drama.

Superman is also weak to Red Sun radiation. red sun radiation drains his powers.

 

I'll admit, I'm not well-informed with the Superman universe, but he's been beaten by multiple people from the DC universe, including Batman, a superhero that really doesn't have any actual superpowers unless you count training himself to a physical and mental peak.

I believe Batman has never beaten Superman in canon. All the comics that Batman beat Superman in, Batman usually has help, and years of prep.

I'd like to point out that "years of prep" is Batman's whole thing. He spends all his time planning for any possible scenario. Batman is crazy. It's hard to beat crazy.

Current Superman(from the comics, mind you) caps out at solar system level in destructive power, and is several millions to trillons times the speed of light

 

Twilight Sparkle, without boosts, is around island level in destructive power(through scaling). She's superhuman in speed, but has reactions somewhere in the speed of sound range

 

She wouldn't even See Superman, and she would die before she realized she'd ever been hit. Even if she got a shot on him, magic doesn't ignore durability, it just affects him normally, so he wouldn't feel the attack. He's also managed to fight off being transmutated before, so she has no options.

 

Again, just one good match-up, guys, that's all I ask.

Batman has never legitimately beaten Superman. If it doesn't involve Superman's moral code preventing him from killing Bruce, he's probably mind controlled (and fighting it).

But Celestia might have a good shot at defeating him. She has been around for thousands of years and probably has a large array of powerful magic at her side. Also Superman gets his powers from the sun I think and Celestia has control over the sun and worse comes to worse could make it go supernova and or control red sun radiation and drain him of his powers.

Applejack vs Cyclops wouldn't be a bad one. He'd have to take the visor off, but they're even enough to make it fair. That's the closest I can think of at this time. Ponies have really lopsided stats that makes it hard to find good match-ups for them.

 

Then again, X-men are kind of all over the place, too. You have humans like kitty, superhumans like Wolverine, people like Colossus and then you have storm, who's beaten clone thor to the ground.

I don't think you understand how Superman works. He stores it up like a battery, even if the Sun went red, he still has enough gas in the tank to flatten Celestia. Superman's track record against people who hold his weaknesses is pretty good, see Metallo.

That's like saying that a man is a coward for not punching a puppy that's chewing on his leg. It takes more courage to hold back and let Batman bitch and moan about whatever's annoying him, than fighting back and breaking every bone in his body. Superman is being the better person

The problem is lopsided stats make them difficult to compare to other characters.

 

The highest we've got for speed in the MLPverse is a moon to earth trip, which is somewhere in the 4 digit machs.

 

Superman routinely travels to other planets outside our Solar system, which makes him Faster than light as a minimum. Even if she could drain Solar energy, she wouldn't have the time too. She can't keep up or react to him; she can't even see him move.

 

Currently, Superman blitzes anything in the MLPverse
