that is legit awesome! I don't play guitar though lol, more of a turntable/dj/synth guy. Other than that however, it's an amazing start, and I can't wait to see the end result!

 

Had to edit to post to add more, it's even more impressive clicking the hi-qual file...for just a sketch, I can already tell this is gonna be some insanely good art!

If you want some more "detail" work, if you're keen on accuracy,

 

I use 2 toshiba laptops,

 

these headphones

 

 

A DJ Mixer inbetween the laptops

 

 

And this Midi Controller off to the side.

 

I also generally DJ on a booth, or a table, and I've got some FX controllers/units as well, but I don't want to overwhelm you with too much stuff out there!  

 

Whatever you want to put in there/leave out, or whatever is best for you, go for it!

 

I just thought you may like some more background/references that you can work in however you like.

(just an odd request though, whatever you do, DON'T put me in Beats by dre headphones...everything else is completely great! but I have a bit of...a history with those..any other headphone, even a made up one would be better than that! Thanks in advance XD )

I can't even come up with a good idea for it. Plus, I really suck at drawing headphones or earmuffs or anything like that.

lel, inaccuracy isn't a big deal, even a DJ station like vinyl's in "Suited for Success" would be totally fine! I didn't know if you were a super accurate detail type artist or more of a flowy abstract, or cartoony, etc type of artist. so again, whatever you end up doing is okay with me! there doesn't even need to be any DJ stuff involved really...if you just wanna draw him in just a cool art style, I'd be happy with even that!

go for it, I mean...maybe minus the guitar if you can, but if not, I have no objections...I do add some synthesized guitar to some of my work anyway, so why not? lol...I guess it's my fault anyway in a sense for not being more specific in the character description thing...I'm surprised I wasn't actually! but yeah, go ahead with whatever you'd prefer

lol, there's no disappointment   seriously...I'm more than honoured that you're doing this for me anyway! Legit, I'm just laid back really...please don't be depressed...I'm not sad, disappointed, or anything...really I'm not! After all, I know not to be too picky, especially when a friend does a totally awesome favour! (which was coincidentally the moral of "suited for success" lol) honestly, I feel bad now that you're depressed...really I do. Please...just do whatever you prefer, I'll be happy to step back and let the artist work

ah, art blocks...now I understand...trust me, as a producer...I get that stuff ALL the time...especially when I force myself to get at least "something" done every day. I'm an admitted workoholic...and when I can't get something right after a ton of attempts, I begin to feel exactly how I would imagine you're feeling...I understand completely! Man...sorry to bring that back...take your time and relax, no rush whatsoever, you can even work on someone else's stuff and get back to mine later...(That's generally what I do...work on something else/different project to clear my head a bit)

I may have to do several sketches, pick my favorite for you, and then turn the rest into free bases and upload them to dA for others to use... because this is ridiculous.
