Midnight Shadow tipped her head to one side, "we wouldn't let them do that to us, we would make sure they fixed you're eyes, if they tried anything just throw caps at them, raiders do anything for caps" she said before going over to him and giving his ear several licks. "but we don't have to go if you don't want to, i can look after you just fine" she finished

A bright blush could easily be seen on Wade's face as Midnight licked his ear, and the fact she changed her mind was all the more amazing.

 

"Please, I do not want to go there unless I need to. I can live without my eyes, I guess. *chuckle* Look to me, the things that have happened to me so far in life you would not believe I was only 28 years old. I am old for an ex-Raider though, most ponies don't live much past 25 now and Raiders, not much past 22. I guess I'm just lucky."

 

Wade took a long pause to gather his thoughts before he spoke again.

 

"Despite how I may act at times, I am truly thank full that you are both still around me. I guess you could say you're my first friends in, just over 5 years. And I thank you both for it."

 

Wade lost himself in though. He stared blindly at the floor, smiling for no clear reason.

Soprano had been highlighting for quite a while now, and he ran out of ink. He gathered up his things, chngd, and walked over to the others. "So... what's this about one person here wanting to shoot another to not be blind anymore?" he asked out of pure curiosity.

Soprano's voice snapped Wade out of his trance like state, and put his mask on before Soprano got a look at his face.

 

"No matter, I believe the matter has been sorted. Besides we still need to get you back to your home. I am going to guess you live in the office district. You seem like one that would live there. That's to the North West and its about a days walk in a group. If we move now, we should pass where I call home just before nightfall." Wade grabbed his gear and started to leave the building. "Are we going? Or shall we stay a bit longer?"

"Well you said it would take a day so I think we better get a move on." Clover answered. Clover picked her rifle back and put her saddle bags back on. "What's ahead of us after we get him home?" Clover asked Wade. "Are we going to Armoured Escorts or what?"

Next stop... *sigh*... my home, I guess. Let's get moving. No time to waste just sitting about." Wade left the building and scanned the area with S.A.T.S to make sure it was safe for the others. "Come on, its quite outside, we should make as much progress as we can while its quiet, I doubt it will remain this way for very long." Wade waited against a wall, waiting for the others to leave.

Clover walked outside of the building and sat down beside Wade. "It's ok if you don't want to go to Armoured Escorts. I don't blame. I wouldn't want to see the ponies that murdered my friends either. Even if they were raiders. I'll think of another way to get up there and maybe ask em why they did it." Clover got back up and stood in the entrance of the building. "Come on. Lets go." she said to the remaining group.

Midnight Shadow got up and flicked her tail, she walked over to clover and snorted "who mad you the leader, i'm the leader" she argued and with that pushed the mare over, then she exited the building following the other ponies outside.

She quickly ran back inside and hid under Wade "big green alicorn" she muttered to him before tugging at his tail "go deal with it"

Clover fell over from the pistol hitting her. She felt her head which was bleeding. She slowly looked to up to Midnight. Clover became filled with rage and slowly stood back up. Clover kicked Midnight in the stomach. When she hit the ground Clover grabbed the pistol from her and smacked Midnight in the forehead with it before doing it again a second time. She got off of Midnight and looked at her on the ground. She spit in her face and said. "Do that again and I'll shoot you."

Clover fell over from the pistol hitting her. She felt her head which was bleeding. She slowly looked to up to Midnight. Clover became filled with rage and slowly stood back up. Clover kicked Midnight in the stomach. When she hit the ground Clover grabbed the pistol from her and smacked Midnight in the forehead with it before doing it again a second time. She got off of Midnight and looked at her on the ground. She spit in her face and said. "Do that again and I'll shoot you."

 

 

Midnight lay on the floor winded her head stung but she still was pissed off, she growled and got back up slowly narrowing her red eyes, she ran into Clover headbutting her side, she then took advantage of Clover stumbeling by grabbing her mane and pulling hard knowing from experience this is really painful if done right, "can't shoot me now can you, close quarters don't favor a gun" she added however she tugged slightly harder ripping a large chunk of Clover's mane off leaving her mouth full of fur.

 

"eugh" she spat the hair onto the floor at clover hooves, "you want to be in charge?, well you got to beat me in a fight" she growled, she then flicked her mane back and opened her wings before taking off, she flew full force into Clover trying to punch and bite her as much as possible.

"Fuckin bitch!" Clover grabbed Midnight by her mane and pulled her to her. "You're gonna wished you never done that." she smashed Midnight's head into the ground. She lifted her back up and punched her jaw again and again. "Can't fly with a broken wing." Clover grabbed Midnight's right wing and proceed to smash it until she heard a crack sound. She threw Midnight on the ground and pulled out her varmit rifle. "I said I was gonna shoot you and now I am." she pulled the trigger which sent a 5.56 mm round into Midnight's shoulder. Clover opened her saddle bag and got out a healing potion. She took it which caused the patch of missing hair to grow back. "Do no-" Clover was cut off by a loud bang. "Who dares to disturb me?" Clover turned to see it was the alicorn that was sleeping on the roof.

Midnight Shadow lay on the floor, her shoulder hurt, her wing hurt and now her body refused to work. She lay slumped on the floor before glancing out of the window spotting a great big alicorn, "great you pissed it off, now its going to bring support, well done, you've just killed us all" she remarked slowly crawling towards wade's bag, she picked the first bottle up and without looking drained it all "eugh aftertaste of these healing potions" she commented before glancing at the bottle.

 

She didn't think it was meant to be black, then the alicorn stepped into the room with its shield up.

Soprano watched the whole incident from afar, scared of what was going down. He was scared, but also scared for their safety. He rushed towards Midnight. "Midnight! Are you alright?!" He yelled, very scared for her and Clover.

Midnight smirked before drinking another healing potion healing herself "of course" she added her eyes narrowed to red slits, she pulled out wades crossbow and shot a bolt at the alicorn which reflected off the shield pissing it off. Its horn glowed and it fired a bright green beam at Midnight which vanished inside a portal that appeared infront of her. the alicorn frowned at her confused to why she wasn't dead. The portal then appeared in-front of the alicorn firing its own spell back at it breaking its shield. Midnight shadow then quickly stepped into the shadows and disappeared.

 

Several more alicorns teleported into the room "got ya" they smirked before raising their shields

Wade was silent for a while now, not wanting to get involved, but everyone was going to die unless he did something very stupid and dangerous. He sent a tag to Clovers Pip-buck, giving her the location to a new safe house named 'Abandoned Raider Stronghold.' Along with a message. 'Run fast, run far. Do not attempt to communicate with me. Take Midnight, yourself and Soprano to this place. I will meet you their. Maybe. Tell Sally the A.I that you are friends of mine. Midnight took my Crossbow, show Sally that and she will believe you and let you in. Don't go dieing on me now.'

 

With everything done, Wade stepped out of cover to get the Alicorns attention. He then turned off the electronic stabilisers in his mask which gave him a influx of power. Slowly, his body began to emanate a thin black fog, a similar one now came from his now deep green eyes, and his blue magical aura was replaced with one of green, purple and black.

 

"You Alicorn should know me, I killed at least 6 of your sisters, and yet you still fail to stop me. You too shall meet a brutal end at the horns of Dark Magic." Wade threw up one of his shields, waiting for the moment to counter attack.

Clover was stunned for a few seconds before she regained her senses. She grabbed Midnight by the hoof and took her out the back of the building. "You stay here!" she demanded. "And I swear if you do anything I'll kill you." Clover ran to the building Soprano was in. "You. Lets go." she pulled Soprano up and took him back to where Midnight was. "Ok...uhhh Wade told us to go to this place. Come on."

The three Alicorn had all their Focus on Wade, they did not notice the others leave.

 

Alicorn: "Ha, well if it isn't the Dark Slayer Pony. We have seen you enough to know that your shield will not save you now."

 

The Alicorns concentrated all of their magic into one beam of energy and released it towards Wade.

 

"Poof."

 

Wade bent his shield into an angled surface, and refracted the Spell back at the Alicorn, turning one of them into Soot and Ash.

 

"Oh how the mighty have Fallen. Next Play, Alicorns. I promise to go easy on you."
