Frieza, the infamous alien tyrant villain of the DBZ anime and manga series, will be making his deadly return in next year's Battle of the Gods sequel DBZ: Revival of F.

 

Frieza was one of Goku's strongest opponents ever, pushing Goku to the point of becoming a super saiyan.

I assume Frieza will get some Galactus-y power-boost in order to pose a threat to Beerus, Super Saiyan God Goku, etc.?

If he is indeed the main villain, then chances are he gets a gigantic power up in the process of being brought back to life.

 

Another possible but unlikely theory...(SPOILERS FROM BATTLE OF THE GODS AHEAD)

 

Beerus mentioned other universes at the end of Battle of the Gods, so maybe this Frieza is from another universe where he was that universe's God of Destruction?

I mean he was big stuff back in the day but the power inflation in that series just exploded while he died, he's toast unless he gets a major power up.

They better make it a good one. The first time he showed up, sure he was tough, but his last few appearances were pathetic. If his power level isnt raised to the extreme, like super saiyan god levells, or higher, i say leave him dead.

Also I'm really tired of them trying to bring back Frieza. This would be the third time they've done it outside of the whole Mecha Frieza thing.

 

EDIT: If they do actually revive him fully, I'd love it if he wasn't nearly as strong as anyone else, but also immortal. Would be a challenge trying to keep him from destroying Earth and the rest of the Universe even if you were a million times stronger than he was.

Really don't know how I should feel about this. I like Frieza, but I don't know about him being revived especially since he's no where near as strong as everyone else. Honestly this is feeling like a fanfic

Kinda sounds like Garlic Jr. in a way, and with me that is not a bad thing. I feel like I'm one of the few fans that little Makyan has.

 

Seriously though, this intrigues me. Frieza has always intrigued me as a villain, but as others have alluded to, his last few appearances have been a joke. He needs something to make him a threat all the while keeping that cocky-as-hell attitude.

Frieza WAS still one of his strongest. He's no cell or buu but he still pushed Goku very hard. and he's probably the series' most intriguing villain. as for being weak, well don't be surprised if he gets a god-tier power boost.
