Come on guys, we have a fanclub for Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox and PC. What about good ol' Sega?

 

I only have one Sega console so far, but still, I'm a pretty huge fan. In fact, my favorite game, along with Super Mario World, is Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

 

So, if you're a fan of Sega, whether you collect the consoles or just the games, post here!

I logged tons of hours on Sonic 1, 2, 3, & Knuckles (Genesis), as well as Sonic CD and Popful Mail (Sega CD).

Oh! I just remembered! There was that weird Zelda-esque clone for the genny that had Sonic in it, lounging on the beach, iirc.

I have a Saturn. I don't care what anyone says. Playing Virtua Cop at home with a light gun in 1995 was badass.

Ah yeah. Sonic 2 is the only Genesis Sonic game I can't beat completely without cheat codes (meaning getting all the emeralds).

Much like other topics like this I don't know if I'd call myself a fan of the company persay but I do love the stuff they produce.

 

I'm a huge Sonic fan, for example, and I have a few of the Sega party games and collections.

 

I'll try to talk about non-Sonic things in this topic since we already have a Sonic thread though.

 

I've wanted the Hatsune Miku games they brought over here. Not particularly a Miku fan so much as that style of music and game but it looks fun regardless. I hope they give other vocaloids and electronic genres the same love someday.

 

On the Ultimate Genesis Collection I love to play the RPGs like Beyond Oasis and Phantasy Star (still need to unlock the original now that I have a second PS3 controller) but I love having all those beatem-ups. They're great multiplayer material for when I'm in the mood for it. Streets of Rage, anyone?

 

I still need to beat Valkyria Chronicles. I haven't played the game in years and only got like eight chapters into the game. I've gotten much better at games in general these days so maybe I can actually beat it. I've also beaten a few SRPGs since then (as opposed to zero when I first played it) so I'm more confident in my ability to do so.

Sega annoys me because nowadays they rarely localize their games.

 

So far some of my favorite Sega games include Bayonetta, Madworld/Anarchy Reigns, Phantasy Star(notably PSO), Valkyria Chronicles, Yakuza and of course Sonic

My dad worked for Sega for a little while, so I played my fair share of Sega games in my days! ^^ Sonic was just really fun and frustrating to play, like most games when I was a kid XD The weird thing is we had Sega Saturn games (Cause my dad worked with the Saturn.) But didn't have a Saturn XD I remember finding a Dreamcast controller, but not finding the Dreamcast itself Ah, kid memories..

I forgot Anarchy Reigns was Sega. That's probably one of my favorite games ever. I played the game four times to get the 1k and I still want to play it more. Dat soundtrack.

Don't think I know this game but there's a Golden Axe spinoff that's also a Zelda clone called Golden Axe Warrior. I haven't given that one enough time yet. Also on the Ultimate Genesis Collection.

There's a lot of Dreamcast games I wish I could play. Though many of that console's games made their way to other consoles (like Headhunter, good god I love Headhunter) there's some that never did and may never see the light of day outside of the Dreamcast.

I love Sega. If I could turn back the clock just once to experience Sonic 1 again for the very first time I would.

Sonic is best console/company mascot. Sega is love, Sega is life. <3

Never had a Sega console...

Was super-hype when Sonic games started coming to Gamecube though, it really was mind-blowing at the time for that to happen! Playing the classic Sonic games on the collections was cool too.

Shame about Sega nowadays though. They at least publish cool stuff sometimes.

I'm (sadly) a die-hard Sonic fan. They keep releasing crap games and I keep playing them because nostalgia and the faint hope the one day, they might not suck as bad.

 

But I mean JUST. TAKE. A. LOOK. AT. THIS.

I Own a saturn and a dreamcast!!! With Tomb Raider, Sega Rally, Virtual On and Virtua Fighter. Along with Daytona USA and Sega Rally 2 and other dreamcast games. My username says so!!! I am a massive Daytona, Sega Rally and Scud Race fan. Along with old Sonic, Outrun, After Burner, G-LOC(Which you would have never heard of), Sega Bass Fishing and CRAAAAZY TAAAXI!!!!! I Also play F355 Challenge and Top Skater. There are lots of sega games but I am a fan who think that Sega have gone on hard times recently. Me and a guy called Eric4372 who runs a site called Musings of a Sega Racing Fan. And we both have the same opinions. Do you have the opinion that Sega Sucks Now?

I'm listening to that awesome song from F355 Challenge called Keep On Rolling. With Vocals by Genki Hitomi who worked with Neil Murray who worked with Brian May of Queen. Keep On Rolling I think is based on Bring your Daughter to the slaughter by Iron Maiden!!!
