I only know one song by these guys and that is Watch over you which also consists of my favorite artist's current singer good ol' Myles Kennedy. So I'll put a few vids as such.

First of all, Carolina is an underheard, underrated, underAPPRECIATED Kick ass existance of a song!!! Unfortunately there is no studio version youtube so this is the best I can do

 

2nd, this song is the reason I do anything in life

 

And last but not least, I prefer the pony version of this song, than the actual song itself

First off, Avenged Sevenfold is technically metalcore, which is a genre of metal that takes large influences from punk.

 

Their first two albums are metalcore. All their albums after Waking The Fallen are definitely not metalcore. I think overall A7X is a mix of metal and hard rock.

I know I posted them recently man I love Glassjaw. I think I like them more than My Chemical Romance. They sound a bit similar, and did what I always wanted MCR to do, which was actually plat post-hardcore like they did on their debut. Like I said, not technically rock but close enough if you can post metalcore.

Well, Bullets was a fantastic record. I still listen to it very frequently. when Sweet Revenge came out, I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. Black Parade was phenomenal, but after that I just haven't liked much of their stuff. Danger Days had a few pretty good songs, like Na Na Na, Destroya and Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back. And Conventional Weapons just isn't good. They just took all these riffs and chords from their previous albums, mashed them together, recorded vocals over them, and called it new :/ I still love MCR but Glassjaw's a bit more consitent with muic I like

Bullets is really great, but Black Parade is the best to me. Songs like "Mama", "Sleep", "Welcome to the Black Parade", and "Disenchanted" are just fucking amazing. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge isn't bad. I like "Helena" and "Thank You For the Venom" quite a bit. On Danger Days, my favorites are "Save Yourself I'll Hold Them Back", "Bulletproof Heart", "Scarecrow", and "Na na na na na" (how ever many fucking na's there are). I have yet to hear anything from Conventional Weapons that I really like at all.

 

So my rankings would probably go:

 

1. Black Parade

2. Bullets

3. Three Cheers/Danger Days

4. Conventional Weapons

Most of their stuff I'm not a fan of

But there are some songs that I'll admit

Were good ones, while other ones were crap

I'm more on the line of 50/50 with MCR

This is one of the most underrated Rush songs in my opinion.

Green Day. How did they go from being the pinnacle of pop-punk back in the 90's to the crap they are now? It bothers me seeing a good band go down the drain like that. Look at Dookie to 21st Century Breakdown or Nimrod to Uno/Dos/Tre. It's nothing in comparison.

 

Probably the only song I actually really liked off of Uno Dos and Tre.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. American Idiot was a pretty solid album, but it just wasn't "them." If that makes any sense. Like, Black Parade was to MCR. It's good and cool, but it's just not their style, you know? (Not bashing either album, mind you. I enjoy them both )
