What do you like most about the MLP Forums? :)

But also the fact that the community is powered by MLP, ergo a lot of us are nicer than most users/communities on the Internet. Simply out, we're bronies, and it's natural that we treat others with the respect that we do, and this forum is a prefect reflection of that. In other words, this is paradise, especially compared to rather certain unnamed websites...

 

Also, I'm never to shy to put out my thoughts and ideas of basically, anything. All of the moderators, admin, and other staff are happy, fun-loving actual PEOPLE that are filled with as much personality as the mane 6, unlike some mods that are as boring as bots. Having in is around every corner here, and it's never too common when we get trolls/spammers that get banned before they become a muffin. That's another big thing about this place, we don't get as many one-shot wonders as other places do.

 

And finally, just the ambience, the feels I get when I'm here that make it actually feel like a physical group of people who discusss such things, but it's as if everyone were real...I'm not even kidding, everyone on here has become like, family to me. It's also fun to have a good amount of inside jokes to throw around once in a while. Also, let's not forget the uber amount of artistic talent some of our members have.

 

Overall, this place very well deserves the spot on my perma-tab list that it has. Choosing to be a part of this growing sub-community of the enormous pony fandom has been one of my best experiences in my social life.

Anywho, there's been an inextricable delight that comes to me from partaking in online forum communities, and the "glorious heyday" of this forum thusfar has not ended, so I am extremely grateful.

 

Compared to other [less scrulous] forums I've perused, I put the weight of success on the shoulders of "Love and Tolerate" as well as the higher induction of honestly loving and tolerating actions.

 

If you can read this you deserve a brohoof and a cool thing to look at. And I say that with complete seriousness, not some kind of faux flattery with the subliminal agenda of earning brohoofs for myself.

I think the best part about MLP Forums is the moderators that are super sexy, have great personalities, because we are not worthy of their time or effort so that is why you must respect them and never spam.

Seriously, though. This website does have a pretty good staff. They actually make the effort to talk to the users and stuff. Unlike most websites where the site owner/mods are like gods, MLP Forums have down to earth people who participate in chats and discussions with everyone else.

Obviously I would be the best part of the forums. Apparently everyone is just sparing me from flattery. Thank you very much. Well, three days ago I would have said the swift action taken by the moderators, but they've only cleaned up a few of my limit bypassing posts, so I can't say that now. It would have to be how friendly most people are.

We can actually discuss politics and other hot button issues without the thread being locked and its always in a civilized manner. Odd considering the nature of these forums but I'm grateful for it. The people here in general are pretty chill and give these forums a sense of community I haven't seen anywhere else. The mods here are pretty chill as well.

 

Really it boils down to just being a genuinely good community and I'm glad I have the privilege to participate in it.

It would be easier to say what i don't enjoy about it..

1. The community. These people and you readers are very understanding, fun, and intelligent in conversation which makes knowing you even if it is through a websit still very enjoyable.

2. The mods. The moderators are as calm as calm can be. They are very relaxed and make it fun to talk to them and not fear the ban hammer like you would on other forums. I even have some of these awesome Mods of my friends list.

3. The charity. Even though this is a free access site people have donated to the site in the hopes to improve it and personally have no self gain besides the fun experience they already have to improve.

4. Everybody's creativity. All the members in someway have benefited in some way that have inspired either a more active imagination to a beautiful mosaic piece of art to bless the approving eyes of a appreciative public.

5. The friends I have made through out all of this. I have made some real life friends from being on this site and even add some amazing bronies onto my Xbox friends list. These amazing people are just a pure delight and I even get excited to see those like FluttershiBrony and Brony Swag just to come online even if we don't converse.

These and many more to come ar the reasons I absolutely adore this site to no end. I hope you all share my opinion. Thank you Feld0, the Mods and anybody else that helped make this site the glorious site it is today and forever more.

I'd have to say that my favorite element of the MLP forums is the wonderful community we have here. Everypony (well, for the most part) is just so kind and friendly to everypony else, and as such, the forums stand out from others in that there's a certain... civility to most of our behavior. Sure, we might slip into fanboy mode at times when we're flipping out over just how awesome MLP is, but generally, since everypony is so friendly, rants or out of control arguments or deviant behavior in general are usually quite the rarity on this site compared to other forums (although I've only ever really frequented one other forum regularly). Keep it up everypony!!!

From my brief time being here, these things stand out for me:

Ahem. I agree that it would just be easier to say what we don't like about it

 

Members: These people are always understanding and willing to help anyone with a problem. You don't get that at other forum sites, instead you get bad advice from trolls who swear they've had that problem before.

 

Mods: I love talking to these guys. I have a mod of another site at school, and he bans at least 200 people a day (or so he says). I feel like I'm talking to, well, myself when I talk to them.

 

Anti-trolls: The people here see trolling as inappropriate and to be dealt with in a gentle manner. You don't see many trolls here, as with every other forum site, it's just the opposite.

 

The brohoof system is really cool, it shows that not everything is without a cute joke.

 

I can almost do anything here, and have it either lightly corrected, or dealt with in an appropriate manner.

 

It's very easy to give back the love received from this site.

 

Look at that. 100 character minimum, and I've multiplied that tenfold. It's such a great time to be alive!

Although I haven't been on this site for very long, nor have I logged in that much, I have to say that I really like the little badges here. I think they're cute~

The emoticons are really cute, too (needs an awesome-face emoticon though!)

I also like that the forum background matches with the time of day; daylight during the day, nighttime during the night. I thought that was really unique~ :3

And lastly, I like that I haven't been shot for my opinion yet. Keyword is "yet"... I've never been on a site where I could say something, and not have someone get on my ass and RAGGEEE about it.

o You don't have to post to enjoy your time here on the forums.

o The majority of this forum consists of nice people which makes the atmosphere very welcoming.

o There are many talented artists, and composers.

o The staff are kind and not abusive with their powers.

o There are many users on here, and it's awesome to find people with the same interests as you.

o There are many posts that make you think and make you go "hmmm... I've never thought of it that way before"

o This community isn't contained only on this forum, we have Minecraft servers, and TF2 servers, and severs for other games!

I know I have already posted on this topic, but I have to add that I also love the kindness of mods here-I remember one girl raged about some stuff related to loosing donator privileges, and didn't hesitate to call this site piece of crap. This would get her automatically banned anywhere else, but not here! Kindness 4ever. Also, I love the banners and the fact they are user created. Makes people able to participate in making the site better, which is awesome.
