BIGGEST trouble you have gotten in by your parents

~Sugar Sprinkles~

One time I went out with 4 guys that I've never met before and spent the night with one of them (Nothing happened). My parents hadn't heard from me at all during that until I came back the next morning. I was around 16 when that happened. Needless to say, they were furious.

So what's spending the night with someone if "nothing happens"

They didn't know I'd wouldn't be back, and didn't know who I was out with. (I left out the part where they were under the impression that I would be with a friend they new). When they learned I wasn't with said friend and could not reach me, they thought I was dead in a ditch somewhere.

100+ speeding ticket. He let me off easy considering i was doing 150...

But my parents don't like me anymore (this is recent, like last week)

$500 fine

30 day without license

Ridiculous insurance premium

And thats just the law side D:

(he said my car was cool though! B)

My exact face when the christmas light flooded through my car:

Didn't do school work and got Fs. Normally a honors student.

From bitterness I arise. I shall thrive in the cool darkness of this moonlit winter's night. Oh how far I have arisen to meet you my friends.

It is funny, because most of the time I get in trouble for something I didn't do.

Like, I remember once when one kid hit me. I just touched his back pack(more like it was a foot touch, but I didn't kick) to warn him off and to basically tell him to back off). Then, he and his friend just started beating me up, while everyone just sat there like nothing happened. I get in trouble for the whole thing. :(

Also, the samething happened when I was in line and all the sudden this out break occured where I pretty much got kicked in the (privates) really hard by this one kid, and I was sent to the doctors because of it(I am a beat up child). I just come to wonder why my parents sent me to that school.

So, pretty much the only reason I got in trouble for being beat up. The thing is, I never want to hurt any one. As my moto says "Don't fight unless you have a good reason". :( :(

Well, I have court on Tuesday for it. I don't think I want to post why because I <3 you guys and don't want the community to think I'm a ruffian lol. But yeah, biggest trouble with my momma is the biggest trouble with the law.

Uh the other day I accidentally smashed my dads plate which was apparently expensive. He went mental. I kinda just ignored him and cleaned it up. Luckily I don't really get punished anymore. I don't TRY and be naughty.

I did once run up a £100 phone bill which I couldn't pay for myself. I normally did but that was way too much. Dunno how I did it. Let's just say I am no longer on contract. haha

Although I didn't really get punished for that either. It's not like they took the phone away or anything.

only ever got punished for things that weren't an accident.

Meh, I'll just tell you guys. There's no judgement here, right? Lolz. I was in possession/under the influence of a no-no plant and my friend did some stuff while he was driving and got us into a car accident. What a guy, right? But yeah, court buddies!

EDIT: I'm trying to keep it as site-friendly while still explaining the situation. Hard stuff, man.

Same here. Hopefully I can manage to get the charges dismissed when I go to court to fight this ticket (speeding tickets are, for the most part, a scam used to shake people down for their hard earned cash so that counties can fill their coffers).

Of course, I am 26 years old and I have been living on my own for years, so it is not like my parents can punish me for this. :P I probably would have gotten in a fair deal of trouble if I did get a ticket when I was younger and still living with my parents, though. :(

A guy I knew threatened to steal the cricket bat I was holding and attack me. Idiot deserved it, who the hell threatens someone holding a cricket bat? My dad was sympathetic, so I didn't get anything taken away or nothing. Yes thats the most trouble I've ever gotten in, a stern talking to. I don't ever get in trouble really. I feel really lucky now....

My parents were always strangely easy on me. They even ordered me a praying mantis egg once back when I was a bug nut, and overnight (probably including the previous day) it hatched into hundreds of babies that got all over the living room because someone (me) had left the lid off.

I think the worst was being grounded for the weekend every now and then or having no Internet access for a week.

The problem with speeding tickets is that one will end up paying far more than the cost of the ticket due to increased insurance premiums over a period of three years. Hopefully I can defeat this ticket in court so I do not have to shell out my hard earned cash to puerile scam mongers.

I would not let my mom sell my car if I were younger either. ;) If you do end up getting punished, hopefully it will be something conventional, i.e. grounding. Trying to sell your car sounds rather extreme to me. I am all for a parent setting boundaries and such, but at the same time, I do feel that minors should be entitled to some basic rights (being entitled to personal property that they bought with their own money, protection from physical punishment, protection from punishment on the basis of sexual orientation, religion or lack thereof, etc.).
