Characters you relate the mane 6 to

What are characters you relate the mane 6 to? My comparisons are

 

Twilight = Robbin *Female* (Fire Emblem: Awakening) - They both know magic, they love reading, and are good strategists. Only problem is, Twilight isn't as good at adapting to when things don't go her way.

 

Rainbow = Wonder Blue (The Wonderful 101) - They're blue, they have an awesome talent (RD's flying and Blue's sword skills) They are both extremely over-confident, and often disagree with their leader.

 

Fluttershy = Momoka Nishizawa (Sgt. Frog) - Honestly, I can put any shy character with a dark side on here. Especially since its always the timid characters with the insane alter egos. Fans of Sgt. Frog will be familiar with Momoka's brutal persona, and we've all seen Fluttershy's crazy tendencies and repressed thoughts at times.

 

Rarity = Maribelle (Fire Emblem: Awakening) - Bringing up Awakening once again, both Rarity and Maribelle apriciate fancy living, speak in a light British accent, and come off as snooty at first, but show other sides other time.

 

Pinkie = SpongeBob SquarePants (Seasons 1-3) - I've made this comparison before, but I'll make it again. They're both zany and random, they both love work, they both love making friends, and they both have a child-like naiveté.

 

Applejack = Donnel (Fire Emblem: Awakening) - I know it's the third time I mentioned this game, but for AJ, there aren't many other characters I can compare her to. Anyway, both have strong family values, both talk with a southern draw, and both can be very stubborn and blunt.

Rainbow Dash - Monkey D. Luffy.

 

My knee jerk reaction was to relate Pinkie to Luffy because they both seem to be off in their own world most of the time and it affects their personalities in a similar way. Then I realized that Luffy is lazy and silly most of the time, but when the time comes to fight or face a tough challenge, he puts on his serious face and does not hold back. Just like RD. He is also super loyal to his friends, hyper-confident, incredibly powerful, and loves a good prank or joke.

 

I kind of want to see those two in a fanfic together now.

I would probably relate to Twilight more than any other of the mane six because were are both nerds loving to read and I kinda will freak out if things don't go exactly to plan sometimes but I can also adapt

I can relate Pinkie Pie to Neo. Both characters have a tendency to violate the laws of physics.

TBH, I always saw Sanji or Zoro as RD, but Luffy's a good comparison too.

Right after I posted that I googled MLP/One Piece fan art and sure enough, most people place RD as Zoro and Pinkie as Luffy. I would do it that way too if I were trying to match all of the Mane Six with a corresponding Luffy Pirate, because Pinkie doesn't match anyone else.
