A large blue unicorn stood in front of the entrance to the Crystal Stable. He was nearly as large as Darkeye. "What brings you here Darkeye, we haven't seen you for a long time". "I can assure you that it involves breaking your bones". "We are family Darkeye, we stick together". "Family doesn't foalnap each other". "You know he has reached the age to start, you know he is ready to learn". "I know, I have been dreading for this day to come. However, I don't want my son dealing in dark magic. It is dangerous and hurts ponies around you, even those who you don't want to hurt". "That is not for you to decide. I am the head of the Crystal family and I say that he is to learn the ways of the Crystals. He will carry on our legend, our family legacy". "I don't care about our heritage, I don't care if we are of the House of Sombra. He is MY son and you have no say in it". "I'm sorry that you can't see reason. You will not be allowed inside". "I don't need your permission to enter, I will make my own entrance". Scar put one hoof in front of him readied himself for battle. Darkeye went into a battle stance as well. They stood there, looking each other in the eye. 

 

"What is taking the Stabledweller so long? Why is he not coming to rescue the zebras? I thought he cared about them?". "If he isn't coming, we will have to move out. We will have to deliver them to the Happy Smiles. We can't sit here forever". "But then we lose the only chance to crush the revolt once and for all. If we deliver them, then they might not want to try to save them". Windroarer chuckled. "Oh, they will undoubtedly try, I guess they are afraid of us while we are holed up tight. Once we step out of our comfort zones, he should show himself. Be ready with your mutts, start digging and stay underground". Mad Dog obeyed and started digging. "Flamer, you may start escorting the ponies to the Smiles". "Finally". "But I am not finized playin wiz zat one". "Maybe you can get to do some of your gruesome experiments over at the Happy Smiles". "Zey probably will notz allow it. Zey are to scared of what zey don't know about" he pointed at a cut zebra. Windroarer rolled his eyes. He flew into the air and watched as all the ponies scrambled. He grinned. He had not told Mad Dog and Flamer about the true plan.

Elegron ran next to cryssi and hugged her, trying to comfort her "you know I don't mean it like that... I'll think about it. I think I'm just being paranoid with everything that's happened. It was wrong for me to accuse you, I'm sorry" he said, nuzzling her.

"I'm just stressed lately. It's hard to know who I can trust sometimes. I'm really glad to have you on my side"

 

The rest of the team that wasn't occupied bid rain farewell

"Well... I guess I forgive you. But, why would you think of me like that? What was going through your mind to think about me like that? I understand your stress. You just need a few days off to relax. You've done so much for everyone. It's time you took some time off to relax. You're not a god, so you have your limits and I think you have reached it. Any longer doing what you are doing without a real few days of nothing and you're going to break yourself. So do us all a favour and just calm down and relax." Zac was giving Elegron a mean stare and a low growl, no one upsets his friend like that.

"Relaxing is hard without dash, but I suppose I can try." he hoped he wouldn't need to explain what he meant by that. "Anyway, we need a way to do something about the white poison. As I've told them I want peace, but it seems I won't get it. Whatever we do, we have to make sure it results in minimal casualties on both sides. And if possible I want to avoid fighting dark eye, because I think rain would be pissed if I had to kill him. Maybe we could assassinate the queens... I'll think about it more later, your right, I need to just relax." He sat in silence for a moment. "Can't relax, let's go do something fun"

Finally entering Ponyville, I passed the gates with the guards at attention at my entrance. "This is where I live Rex, since your with me, you pretty much have free run of the place, just keep in mind the rules and laws okay?" Rex sighed, 'Your really going to lecture me on rules and laws. I might just make a mess just to see what would happen.' I laughed, "Haha, your too funny lets see where Darkeye is. I want to see his reaction when I show him..." Slasher approached me with a couple guards clearly on alert. Me and Rex instantly became more aware of our surroundings. "My apologizes but you must come with us right away Madam. We have a situation that requires your attention." Preparing myself for the worst, "Wait, this is Elegron's last known location, send a messenger to Blooddrop on the double so that he may be apprehended." Slasher acknowledged my request, "It shall be done Madam, Now please come with us." The house was surrounded by elites and scorpions that made mine look nice in relative comparison. "What happened here?" I asked fearful now. "A dark spirit has foalnapped Darksun, Darkeye told us to await your arrival as well as to ensure your family's safety. He left to return your son back." Fighting back tears,"Where did he go? I will help!" I exclaimed. "I believe to an old stable belonging to your family. I am not sure he would want you to follow though." Disregarding his statement, "Tell me where he went! keep an eye on my family please. I must go get my foal back." I left quickly following vague directions, but I hoped it would be just enough to find it in time.

 

I followed Elegron some, entering his head, "So she lives and rides scorpions huh? I must say, I never thought that she could amount to anything I have just seen. Although, she is still boring and peaceful. Disgusting habits I say." Looking at his feelings within his subconscious, "Aww, you felt bad for making a mare cry! Hahahaha, you are worthless I say! Worthless! You do have a knack for surviving though. I give you that much." Laughing to myself now, "You should just give in yes? Get irrational, crazy and all the like! The wasteland corrupts quickly my friend. Just give in and make it easier on yourself. You know you want to." I said alluringly in his head.

Darkeye and Scar had been fighting like hell for some time now. They were both covered in scars and bruises some of which Scar had done to himself. Darkeye was larger, stronger and was better at hoof-to-hoof combat, however, it seemed that Scar grew stronger with every wound or cut. Scar grown a little bit in size everytime and was about to reach Darkeye's height. This was a battle Darkeye couldn't win. Scar blasted Darkeye's right rear leg with magic and he fell on the ground. He couldn't see very clearly as one of his eyes was heavily bruised. Scar stood over him, his expression grim. "You really had a big potential. You could have been part of our glorious recapture of the Crystal Empire, but you want to take away our only hope of reclaiming it. We still have to wait for at least 10 years. But we can wait, but we will not lose our chance. Rest in peace Darkeye of the Crystal family".

"Well, I just so happen to be a trained masseuse. A little hobby of mine I picked up some years ago. [black Widow] Maybe that can help you unwind a bit?" It had been a while since she practiced her skills on another pony, hopefully he will agree, she would like the practice. But mainly just wants an excuse to touch him.

"Sounds good [lady killer] but we may want to take it somewhere private" he gave her a suggestive look.

 

Xenith started walking towards the group, hidden and out of sight. She knew she had seen that Pegasus with the scorpion before working for the white poison. She knew something was up.

 

Elegron heard jack and thought back to him "I'm not weak, I'm just not cruel. I have it under control, now kindly fuck off traitor" he focused on the spirit and forced jack out of his mind.

Lasher approached Xenith from behind. "Seems like I'm not the only one that does sneaking around here" he chuckled. "What is it that you want, don't you trust those whom the 'Lightbringer' chooses as companions?" he said the word Lightbriner as if it was nothing but a terrible joke. 

 

"Still no attack, I know you will show yourself sooner or later, Stabledweller". The caravan had traveled 2/3 of the way to the Smiles.

Xenith looked at lasher "there is one. A spy. Of this, I am certain. I just hope that mares massage doesn't involve knives." She laughed in spite of herself. "I don't think she will try anything just yet, and we should let Elegron have his time."

 

Vestal saw lasher and xenith talking and walked over "xenith! You escaped?"

"That I did. I am, after all the one who trained you in stealth."

Leone felt a deep sense of disconnect from the group, she didn't know anything about anypony to add anything to the conversations. She grew troubled from the her lack of knowledge about anything and even more so when she could not recall her own memories.

 

Leone began to distance himself from Elegron and the rest of the group, she didn't have any reason to be here and they probably didn't give a buck about her. She retreated back into the cave and gazes at the Zebra that appeared after her departure. "what an odd group,it's gonna get late real fast and they don't seem to care the slightest bit." She spoke aloud to herself, was it really possible that the wasteland wasn't as dangerous as she remembered?

Strawberry lemonade saw leone leaving and flew over to her "hey, where are you going? Look, I know you feel ignored, but there's a lot going on right now." She sat down next to leone "so how have you been?"

(The twenty years time skip should happen after the thing about the foal is revealed, cuz I have plans.)

"Considering I just 'woke up' I've probably have had better days. I mean I'm pretty much in the dark in all aspects, and when I try to find assistance I get a rifle pointed at me." Leone didn't look at the Pegasus, she didn't know who to trust primarily because she didn't know anypony. "I was probably better off dead, that airship killed everypony except me, and all for what?" She muttered to herself before her suit notified her of a dangerous elevation in her heart rate, a flurry of emotions bombarding her under that lifeless suit.

Strawberry lemonade looked concerned "hey leone, if something's bothering you, just tell me. To give you a rundown.... There's 2 major factions in this world. The lightbringers and the white poison. The white poison society, or WPS, control much of the world with propaganda. They claim to be heroes, but they only care about their citizens, and kill almost anyone else. The lightbringers, that's us, are currently trying to stop them with as few casualties as possible. On both sides. We're just trying to create a better Equestria.

"Well we are in the middle of nowhere. Not many places to go around here to get some privacy. Their is a cave and that's about it. Not the most practical place in the world, but will it do?"

Kalus was at his home. Tenpony tower. Normally he would almost instantly forget about his most recent job, but this one stayed in his mind for some reason. "Rave Crystal. What does that name ring a bell? I know I have heard that name somewhere. But where? Do you know Brother?"

 

Dark Phantom: "I have a history with that name. One that is not very interesting to he honest. He was the slave Lord remember? A title like that and you remember the name to go with it."

 

Kalus: "Something just does not feel right. Something is... off balance, distorted. Something that should not be happening is happening. And I can't help but not think that this Rave Crystal has some connection to it. Brother, we need to investigate this further."

 

Phantom: "We?"

 

Kalus: "Yes we. You know Dark Magic. Maybe be useful to allow us to travel by night."

 

Phantom: "True. I'll attach to my old Crossbow. Bring that and my old Pip-Buck with you."

 

Kalus: "Ok. It will be dusk soon. Let's get moving."

 

(Sorry I'm slow on the posts. I've been playing a lot of Rouge Legacy. So addicting)

Leone sighed and looked at the Pegasus mare "What's your story with Elegron? And Lasher as well, he seems to always be watching me like I'm going to stab his back the first chance I get or something."

Strawberry lemonade defended Elegron "Elegron is the leader of the light bringers, and trust me, we have tried for peace, but it was rudely denied. They asked for far too much in return, and it would have ultimately sealed stable cities fate."

 

 

"A cave'll work, let's find one without deathclaws. Let's check that one"

As the two walked into the cave, the lack of light became apparent, and Elegron set up a portable lamp so they would have enough light.

"Dinner arrives!" Elegron turned around to see a raider, knives in his hooves as it went straight for cryssi. BLAM BLAM BLAM! The raider fell victim to Elegron's buckshot. Elegron looked around the cave, seeing it didn't go in far enough for there to be more raiders, but just to be safe, he checked his efs. No more raiders. He spun his shotguns around before reholstering them. "You ok cryssi?"

"I'm fine thanks. I guess they didn't joke about cannibalism in schools then. Ponies really do resort to it. Even now after the wasteland is healing, they still eat themselves. It's Crazy to think that something like this was once allowed in the WPS. Enough about that." Cryssi walked a bit further into the cave, getting a good look at it. "Nothing of value here that needs to be taken. So shall we get started?"

Elegron picked up the knives that the cannibal had. Neither of them were hellhound claw, so they were totally worthless to him. But the pony did have something interesting on him. A small keystone in the shape of an apple. He quickly stashed it, not wanting to waste anymore time. Walking over to cryssi, he hugged her tightly and said "ready when you are"

Leone fell silent, she hated that the world she once knew was gone, and was left with this 'new world order' bullshit that she didn't want to take any part of. "And let me guess, the WPS controls most of the wasteland now, right?" She grimaced already knowing what the answer would probably be, and she hated that such a group could grow so strong, but there was bound to be weaknesses somewhere to bring it down.

Strawberry lemonade responded "well we could always launch a balefire egg rain, but that would cause lots of casualties, which is bad."

 

Vestal eyed lasher suspiciously. "You slaughtered my family. I remember. It was you. My wife and kids were taken as slaves, and beaten to death by a Pegasus named lasher. Because you are with Elegron and still alive, I assume you have changed. Is this true?"

Lasher eyed the zebra. "I did, and I have changed a little bit. But not because of the Stabledweller, that idiot can go buck himself". His expression softened as he looked to where Greenleaveas lay. "I have other reasons". He looked back to where Leone was, still keeping an eye on her. He only needed a reason and she would be dead. 

 

Scar stood over the body of Darkeye. He stood there silently for a moment and then entered the stable and sealed the entrance to it. He walked in the hallways of the Crystal Stable. He went to the overseer's office and checked his map. "The armory seems fine, the toilets are fine, the magical testing lab is fine, the library is in use, the living quarters seem fine, the training grounds seem fine, the X013 breeding grounds seem fine and the crystal garden seems fine". 

 

The caravan had reached it's destination and were now under the protection of the Smiles. "He did not come, well it is his loss. He is the one who left them to rot" Windroarer thought.

"Well I can't exactly start when you're wearing armour now can I? Take it off and lie down on your stomach, and I'll show you one of the best advantages that wings can give a mare."

 

Zac had posted himself outside if the cave entrance, he was not going to let anyone in on short notice.

Elegron removed his armor, and saddlebags Dropping them at the entrance of the cave. He found the most comfortable spot he could in the cave laid down "ok, NOW I'm ready when you are" he said smiling.

 

Vestal didn't show emotion "I can't forgive you, but I will accept you... No... I'll try and forgive you. That is what Elegron would do. He taught me that everypony has some good in them, and that killing or hating a changed pony is pointless. And he is right. If you have truly changed than hating you will help nothing.... I'm vestal, pleaded to meet you" she changed her attitude at the last part and gave him a smile.

"Well, as you can tell, I am Lasher. Now if you two ladies will excuse me, I'm going to scout the area. My feathers are tingling, something tells me I ought to be out there, watching. Wouldn't mind taking a few shots at Windroarer if I see him. I just wish he wasn't so damn fast.... and so flexible. Ugh". Lasher took off to the air, giving Leone a one last glance, making sure she wasn't trying anything, then flew out into the night sky. 

 

Windroarer was about 7 miles away. He was on his way to Ponyville to report to Darkeye. He saw Rain on her scorpion and flew to her. "I am on my way to your husband to deliver him important intel. Can you verify that he's in Ponyville?" he asked in hurry, not really caring where she was heading.

She pulled out some small jars of oils and ointments from her bags, and applied them to her hooves and the tips of her wings, before she started to give him a massage. "It's been a few weeks since I've done this, so I hope this feels nice." She started to rub up and down is back, relaxing all of his muscles and hitting all his pressure points, making it as 'pleasurable' as possible for both of them.
