I noticed Windroar approaching me and Rex instinctively stopped. 'What now, we need to save Darksun now! We don't have time for this.' Rex signed. "We need to wait Rex, I know Windroar has business with Darkeye. He might have something we could use to find him." Rex sighed, 'Fine, I guess I can take a minute to catch my breath anyhow.' I threw him a rodent to feast on as Windroar spoke.  "No, he last headed to the Crystal family stable to rescue our son. I was headed to his last known location but the directions were fairly vague. It seems no one comes there too often. I guess Rave knew more than I gave him credit for." Taking a deep breath, "Look I am in a hurry. If you need to deliver this Intel then follow me I guess. Otherwise we have to keep moving in a minute."

Elegron just sat back enjoying the massage. After a while he had a thought, and it took everything he had not to say something along the lines of "we gunna fuck or what?" Instead, he managed "so when did you learn how to do this?"

Even though she could not see his face clearly right now, she could easily read him like a book, so she was going to have some fun. "I learned to do this about 6 years ago. I needed a hobby and I was always good at making other ponies happy. And since afraid of heights, I needed to use my wings for something. And this is best way for me to use them. I guess it was time spent well from how you are reacting to this. Oh and don't think I don't know what you want. You'll get it soon, once I've had my bits of fun." She continued to do her thing, starting to move her wings a bit lower with each minute.

Leone looked at Vestal as she asked her about the enclave "From what I remember It was good, for me at least." She paused a moment then continued "I can't vouch for the 'regular' enclave ponies, I was Chief Scientist and I didn't have to deal with anything but science related issues." She didn't really have much to say, as it was she only knew that because her suit had information on herself, however the more detailed information was secured by password and user verification, she didn't remember the password.

"Hmmm, I guess it was just false alarm. I was sure that Windroarer would be somewhere around here. Guess I will return back to Greenleaves, drawing cheater, Brainless, Miss Enclave Enforcer and.... well.... zebras... ugh I got nothing on them". Lasher flew back to the others.

 

"How does it go, it hasn't hatched yet?". "It won't hatch until after another 450 years my lord Scar". Scar sighed. "Well, we Crystals are patient. One of our descendants will be the lucky one".

Rex gave Windroar a warning look but otherwise laughed along with me. "You need to calm down buddy, Windroar is a friend." 'What about your other friend,' giving Rain a look of disbelief. "Stuff happens, he is a reasonable pony even if his intentions or impulses are not necessarily wise themselves. Besides I think I see something ahead. But I have to get closer. Let's get to it!" We moved closer and further inspection revealed Darkeye's body lifeless on the ground next to cleverly hidden stable. It seems an earlier fight destroyed some of the foliage partially revealing a restored stable thought to be previously run down. "No, Darkeye!" I flew off of Rex and sped toward his body, "Not you too! Please! Please, be conscience!" Rex immediately went on the defensive on the lookout for anything out of place or threatening.

Leone facehoofed her helmet as Lasher came to exchange his share of witty insults, but before Leone could really confront him he already flew off. "This is the kind of treatment that you don't do to ponies wearing power armor." She sighed and walked off on her own, she needed time alone, the irony in it was she truly was alone in the wasteland, she couldn't force ponies to like her and as long as she wore the armor that shielded her, she was going to be judged quickly and harshly. She sighed and fell silent.

A bloodwing attacked Lasher and tried to bite him. He managed to bring his scorpion tale of his armor to its neck and kill it. "There must be more out there, they usually hunt in groups. Better warn the others". When Lasher returned he told about the area around them being possibly filled with Bloodwings.

 

Darkeye woke up and saw Rain. He looked her in the eye. "I--I'm sorry. I--I tried to save him. I--I failed" he rasped. Tears streamed down. "I love you Ra----" he had been holding a hoof to Rain's chin but it fell as he died there on the ground.

Bad memories were unleashed as her last moment at Canterlot were suddenly at the forefront. "No, I can't lose you! Not after I lost Jack, Stay with me!" I struggled for a moment trying to maintain my own sanity, tears falling down my face. I looked at Windroar, "You know where this stable is now. I am going to ask you the biggest favor of my life. Elegron knows specialized magic. Of this I am certain, I will take his body to him. I need you to inform the Blood Queens of the Crystal family stable's location. We have to get in there to save our son, and we can't do this on our own." Looking at Windroar with pleading eyes now. "Please keep my mission quiet, unless the Queen herself asks. I don't want to lose her loyalty but she would do the same for Vi if she were in my hoofs." I felt absolutely horrible for leaving Darksun there with those monsters but I have to save my stallion to keep my sanity. For my sake, for my foal's sake. I needed to save him even if it took me going to the ends of the earth.

Windroarer looked at Rain with bewilderment. "Bu--but the Stabledweller is an enemy of the state. I--- aghhh fine. But don't you go make any deals with him, if he asks for something in return, you will not be able to cover it up to the Bloodqueen. Trading with the Stabledweller is strictly forbidden". He took a good look at the Stable, however, he did not go any closer as disintegration turrets were on the tops and they were starting to target him. He took to the air and flew in the direction of the Badlands. 

 

Scar felt a tingling sense. "Someone is here and now they are leaving". Scar went near the entrance to the stable and started laying magical traps.

Cryssi lay on the floor of the cave, breathless and exhausted. "Fuck. Wow. You're really good at this. I'll be struggling to walk straight for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if you are constantly flocked by ponies in Stable City." She moved closer to Elegron, started to cuddle close to him. "Ahh. I don't want this to end soon. Can we stay like this for a while? Please?"

Elegron snuggled up, nuzzling her and giving her a playful lick on the cheek. "heh, your not bad yourself. and if you would believe it, i turn most of the mares down. Im pretty picky, and i kinda have a thing for pegasi" he ran a hoof through her mane. "yea, we can stay here a little while. i cant imagine anyone barging in and screaming about dead ponies anytime soon."

Lasher barged into where they were. "Hello there, I just wanted to warn you two about Bloodwings. There are Bloodwings out there, so we must be careful. If we keep low and don't try to fight them, they might not notice us and leave us alone. Well, you two seem like you are having fun. Don't think you would share it with us" he joked.

"what the-? what are you doing in here?! i know about bloodwings. ive been in this wasteland for 10 years. and next time knock! if theres no door, use the side of the cave!" he said before magically lifting up lasher and depositing him outside the entrance. "some ponies are so rude" he muttered to himself. he hadnt moved from where he was at all.

"For ten years in the Wasteland you don't seem to know a Hellhounds backside to a zebras mane" Lasher mumbled. "Why do they always pretend they know everything and that it is of no worry? Bloodwings are extremely dangerous in groups. They can drain you up in faster then you can say Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000.... now where did I hear about that? The next time he lifts me up like that, he is going to get a hoof into his face".

Cryssi let out a small squee and then lay nuzzling Elegron. Not wanting the moment to pass. Zac lay outside of the cave, and when Lasher came out via telekinesis, he could not hold back a laugh. 'Moron. He needs to respect privacy. Stupid pony.' He sat eating some food he 'borrowed' from Cryssi's saddle bags.

Kalus was out in the wastes exploring and searching for... something that catches his attention. Nothing. He had been out for a while and turned up nothing.

 

Kalus: "Sun is going to start setting now. Are you sure you can protect me from the corruption this world has?"

 

Phantom: "Of course. Trust me."

 

Kalus: "If I die you will regret it. Never thought I'd threaten to haunt a ghost. Anyway, sunset is now upon us, anyone outside had better hope they can cast a shield or they are dead as dead can be. Let's get moving."

 

Phantom: "Only you can move. You're carrying me right now."

 

Kalus: "Shut up."

Lasher noticed Zac. "Hello there. Care for a rematch?". Lasher started drawing in the ground using his suit's scorpion tail. He did a little bit better than last time. "Hah, try beating this". 

 

Scar was preparing some of his fellow cultists. "Remember, if an enemy vanishes using magic, be on your guard, they will either mirror image themselves or teleport behind you for an attack. Then there are also the sub-magic types that can be applied".

Eventually, Elegron fell asleep from the combination of the past stress, and the warmth of the mare in his hooves.

 

Greenleaves walked over to Zac and lasher, and began drawing in the dirt with her magic. The picture showed a calm setting, a small hill wih the sun shining over it, and two ponies sitting under a tree. A unicorn mare, and a pegasus stallion. She walked over and hugged lasher.

Zac drew a picture of Lasher making it as detailed as possible. It turned out quite well for his skills. Again he just sat and laughed at Lasher's lack of skill. When his eyes drew over Greenleaves drawing, he froze. 'I guess some of these ponies share the same dream as I. That's nice to know.' He continued to stare at Greenleaves drawing. Lasher was a little bit irritated that Zac beat him again. "Damnit, you cheated again. No fair". He looked over to Greenleaves' picture. His face went a little bit red. "It looks.... beautiful. I didn't know that you could draw. Is that..... us?" he asked Greenleaves, hoping that it was.

"Yup" Greenleaves said smiling. She was tempted to say it was Elegron and dash just to see his reaction, but decided it would be mean. Also, they're races would have been swapped anyway. "I used to draw a lot in my spare time. As the main medic at stable city, i usually get a lot of time off because ponies rarely ever get hurt. In fact, I've had to heal Elegron more than any other pony. Sometimes I wonder how he's even still alive, but to get as far as he has, he must be doing something right"

Finally approaching Elegron's camp. It took some since I had to track his last known position then follow whatever foot steps I left. "Please...help me. My foal taken, and Darkeye...dead." I wanted to collapse into tears but I managed to stay firm. Rex approached Zac, 'We need Elegron's help. You guys are the closest ponies to us. Please, Rain is a mess. I am worried for her.' While Rex talked to Zac, I managed to carry Darkeye on my back, but barely. "Greensleeves, can you help? I found him on the ground, please?" Placing him delicately on the ground.

"You hold to much trust in him. Wounds don't make one good, nor be doing right. Even those who do wrong will often get badly hurt, even more hurt than those who are not. Sometimes, I think you ponies are brainwashed. Don't you ponies have your own thoughts? Is all you think, positive towards Elegron? Because that just sounds fishy to me. Nopony is perfect. Everpony has a bad side, a flaw" he said a little bit grumpy since she was talking about Elegron.
