Elegron landed the sky chariot outside of bloodrops home and knocked on the door "it feels like only yesterday when I broke into your home unknowingly. I've since learned to knock" he said jokingly. "I'm here for one reason. Peace. And the price that comes with it. I'll pay for my crimes in full, in order for there to be peace between stable city and the WPS. I just ask that I have my final words to the wasteland." He waited for a response.

Lasher got up immediately as soon as Leone ran in. The spa mares had been giving him a wing massage and it could be easily seen that he had been given a hooficure. "I was forced" he yelled as he ran in the opposite direction. "Fuck, out of all the ponies, it had to be the Enclave one to see me". 

 

Rattlesnake was about to make his news announcement. He checked his surrounding as if expecting to see someone. "I really need an apprentice. I am getting too old for this".

"Forced, what?!" She looked at Lasher bewildered and realized he had been getting a hooficure and was clearly troubled about her seeing him like that. "Hey, wait a second, what the hell happened?!" She shouted, chasing behind him as fast as she could, while stifling a laugh or two since his priceless face was so engraved in her mind.

"From what I have heard the city got teleported to a new location. NOW LEAVE ME ALONE. I AM COMPLETELY INNOCENT". He ran through a hallway that lead outside. 

 

The dark crystals started to surround the Crystal Empire. "For all those you have slaugthered, for all the Crystal dead. You will pay" Rave said as he looked towards the mutant occupied city.

"TELEPORTED? WHERE?" she continued run after Lasher, he wasn't being very cooperative and very childish. "Where is Elegron? WHY DON'T THE STREET LAMPS WORK?" she asked as the electricity flickered between street lamp to street lamp, some sort of tax for teleporting she presumed?

"I don't know. We haven't been given a fixed location. All I know it is somewhere on the other side of the Wasteland. And how the bloody hell am I supposed to know why the street lamps are not working. I did not study electricity at Neighvarro. Stealth and assassination is my proffesionality. Please stop following, you are making me feel really uncomfortable". It was true, however Lasher did tell the full reason why he wanted to left alone. He wanted to get back to Greenleaves and the spa.

 

The mutants couldn't see the crystals as Rave shrouded them with black smoke, similar to the one Sombra had used when he tried to retake the Crystal Empire during the time of the Mane 6. A tear formed in Scar's left. "Our home, we will finally have a home again brother. We will finally belong somewhere, be a part of the world". Rave did not reply. His mind was bent on one thing within the Crystal Empire.

Two large earth pony stallions came out of their own stealth behind Elegron and forced him to the ground, binding him in chains and a dampener on his horn to prevent use of magic.

 

Blooddrop: "It's good that you finally came to your senses, within a few years we would have had the tech to destroy your city. Your last wish will be granted, but we have things we want to do to you first. You will tell us what we want to know or we will extract it by force." She pulled an empty memory orb out of her pocket. "I trust you know what these are. So, question 1 out of many: where do you keep your pip-buck keys?"

Kalus and Cryssi took a detour towards Rattlesnakes radio tower. They had not heard a solid radio broadcast from him in a dew days, so they decided to check up on Him. He was old after all. They found his home and knock on his door. Waiting for him to make some sort of response.

"Yeah, and what am I suppose to do if I stop following you? And since when did you like hooficures? You certainly don't look the type for that sort of activity, and even more so that should be the last thing on your mind, if you didn't notice Elegron is GONE!" She then felt an odd sense of guilt wash over her, Kalus and Cryssi were gone, the traitors and Lasher was still here, did that really mean he was on Elegron's side? She waited for a serious reply from the pony.

Lasher looked at Leone for moment. "I know he is gone. He broadcasted it. He is going to turn himself in. He left Greenleaves in charge. Personally I don't care. If this is what he wants, he can do what he wants. His life. Might solve all problems. He really has done nothing for me except give allowance to be inside the city. All I care about is Greenleaves.....". He paused, thinking for a while, then his eyes widened. "And Greenleaves believes in him and I believe in her".

 

An orange old buck with a white beard came to answer the door. "Cryssi. Long time no see. It has been a few years since we saw each other. I still remember when you were a little filly and how polite and nice you were when you came visiting the Smiles" he offered a friendly yet tired smile. Although he still felt quite young, age seemed to have finally caught up to him.

I was finally walking again Rex beside me when I noticed Elegron of all ponies knocking on Blooddrop's door. "Rex, that can't be who I think it is. Not sure if it's a clone or has he really turned himself in," I said to Rex. "I too am curious what he is thinking now." Rex merely nodded in return, he was just happy to have Rain back to normal again, well kinda. Darkeye's loss still made her ache even if she knowingly repressed those feelings. 'Let's just see what all this is about," he said. As we walked forward, he was subdued instantaneously. Not even magic could save him now. He was dragged inside her home immediately with elite guards at the front door. "Wait here okay, I am not sure what level of secrecy she wants in these matters," I asked him. 'Fine, YOU get to have all the cool fun and I get stuck outside again,' he replied disappointed. I only smiled, "I know it's not much but I had it cooked for you courtesy of one of the guard's mares that was taking care of me," I said as I tossed him a rodent cooked exactly the way he likes it. Immediately digging into it. He almost forgot about my own little task. I approached the Elites' at the doorway. "May I come in? I wish to see the proceedings with Elegron myself."

Elegron chuckled "pipbucks don't have keys. Mines not even password protected. I would show you but I can't." Elegron perked up a little when he heard rain "rain? It's good to hear a friendly voice. Also, bloodrop, what is this thing for? Do you not trust me with my magic? Oh right, I forgot what happened last time.... Well I can't use magic, and I have no weapons. You may as well take these chains off. Anyway, as I said, I have no keys, you just have to turn it on."

Elegron thought for a moment "unless you actually plan on taking my pipbuck. Then you would need stabletec override tools. I can get those for you at stable 42."

Blooddrop: "No matter we have less conventional ways of removing a pip-buck from its owner. I may have told a little lie. I don't have many more questions for you except 1. Where did you move Stable City? Magic like that can he detected easily by a unicorn, but not tracked. We know you moved your city, and you will tell me it's location. And last be not least, reports say you use prototype arcane technology to make stable city invisible. You know Twilight better than anyone else, so does Stable 42 have details about Arcane technology, considering it was her stable after all?"

Rattlesnake offered the two ponies inside. He closed as they came inside. "Well, I have not been receiving a lot of news lately. Seems like things have gone quiet. Age seems to have also finally caught up with me. I am trying to find someone to take my place, as there must always be a broadcaster. There must always be pony who tells others the truth. There must always be a pony, who keeps up the spirits. I fear that my last days might be coming soon". 

 

A lone mutant stood by one of the buildings within the Crystal Empire. He was wandering about the black smoke that seemed to be surrounding the city. He couldn't help it anymore. He went towards it to inspect. When he was only a few hooves away, he stopped and try to peer inside. However, he started to feel numbness spread all over his body. He looked down to see a dark crystal piercing his throat. He fell down silently and the body was dragged into the smoke. "Yesssss, crystalsssss".

"I may have lied a little too, I have the tools in my saddlebag right now. I just wanted to see my stable one last time. Now, stable city is.... Well, funny thing. I messed up when teleporting it." He started laughing "it's kindof.. Umm.. Right next to Ponyville. About 3 miles away. Tell them 'let the light shine bright' and they will let you in. Then he addressed her second question "stable city and stable 42 are one and the same. My mom knows a little, but I mostly learned from studying magic. I have twilight sparkles own spellbook. Although I believe after my death, Kalus is the only one who could cast these spells. And that is IF he can. My friend spark also knows about arcane technology, and can help set it up for you, but only if there truly is peace between stable city and the white poison." Elegron said. "Im putting a lot of trust in you."

Aside from my mom of course, but she can't use her magic anymore. At least, not a spell this powerful. And yes, you usually have the last name of the stallion, but they wanted to keep the last name sparkle." Said the last direct descendant of twilight sparkle. For now.

Rattlesnake took Kalus' hooves and there came a crunch. Though he had grown old, much of his strength had not left him. "Pleased to making your acquaintance". He chuckled. "I haven't had any volunteers. I have posted ads in many of the main cities of the WPS".

 

Scar and a few of his cultists were sneaking around, going from house to house, taking out mutants. So far they had managed to stay quiet. Only one house with mutants in had managed to provide resistance so far. They had lost 2 ponies. They were now heading for the library. "Quiet now, there will be a lot of mutants here. After this, our stealth will be blown. Kill as many as you can before they can raise alarm".

 

A shadow moved quietly through the streets. It was heading towards the castle. Two guards were posted by the main entrance. Rave came up behind them. Dark crystals started to grow from within the two mutants and they fell down dead as everything within them was destroyed. The shadow turned its head towards the entrance.

Blooddrop pulled put the book from his saddle bags and opened it to look at the contents. As Elegron had said, the book was unreadable. "Tier 5 blood enchantment. I'll send some unicorns to crack that open within a Week. You want a your final words to be on the radio? Well, best we go to ponyville. I'm sure a good public execution will boost the spirits of all the ponies you made life hell for. Myself included. Get him up and onto a chariot! We're going to ponyville. And send a message to Rattlesnakes, tell him we will be overriding his radio for a while."

 

Elite Guard: "Yes ma'am." The guard left the building, sending a messenger to Rattlesnakes and bringing a chariot to them. "We're ready to depart."

"You can't. Not that I won't let you, I mean, your welcome to try, but you can't decipher that. It's not possible." He smirked "unless Kalus is my brother. Which, by the way, is also not possible. So don't get your hopes up." He was a little curious about one thing however "so how many ponies do you think will be happy, and how many do you think will be sad? I'd say almost everypony I've met will be sad to see me go, and those who have had their views clouded by propaganda will be happy. What do you think?" He said with a smile

"Ugh...useless!" Leone had been just about done with the wasteland and her recording of destruction echoed in her mind. She immediately found herself a guard, demanding that he show her the way out, her resolve and suit making it really easy to persuade him. Through a series of questions she also found out the secret password to access the city if she need to for whatever reason and got him to fly her in one of Elegron's fancy chariots. If what the stallion in her audio logs said was true, the facility that housed the swarm should include a secured passageway to the M.E.G.A Missile. "Can't you go any faster?" She demanded to that same poor guard who flew her only out of obligation from the intimidation. As she neared the facility she stopped the chariot "I no longer require your services, go home or something." And with that she hopped out of the chariot and continued flying on her own. Her mind was still clouded with confusion and uncertainty, what was she going to do if by chance the missile was actually there? She would soon find out as the facility got closer and closer.

Jobs outside the cities have a unacceptably high mortality rate. A lot of ponies will have some personal grudge against you. And most will be cheering for your death. You've caused enough trouble to last a lifetime." She punched Elegron in his chest with enough force to break a rib. "No longer. Get him out of here. I will meet you at ponyville later. Vi, go with them."

 

Vi: "Of course."

 

Vi and a few ponies moved Elegron into the chariot as it began to drive towards ponyville.

 

Blooddrop: "Can't crack this book my eye. We'll have the enchantment broken in a week."

The book floated out of bloodrops hooves and opened to the first page. Words that had not been there before we're now present "if thou be an heir to the element of magic, then speak "open" and such will occur"

 

Elegrons elite recon team watched leone from above, their zebra stealth cloaks keeping them hidden. Strawberry lemonade motioned for silverwing and wildfire to stay out of range of Leones power armor efs.

 

"So" Elegron said, looking from one guard to the next "either of you get breaks often? Is it a good job? Do either of you have kids? I wanted to have kids. It's a shame really, that it had to come to this. Hopefully the loss isn't too hard on dash..."

Elegron was shoved out and I only could look at him as he looked a little bruised with half worry, and half relief. "I hope you find what you came to find here Elegron. I pray you have a happy future," I said politely. The guards shoved him off then toward his holding cell until he was to leave. I entered her home smiles on my face. "Blooddrop! How are you?" hugging her now. "I have missed you you know. Might as well relax, the war is over now that Elegron is captured. I just hope the law could be more forgiving, but rules are rules right?" I poured us a drink. "You thirsty? I might take up drinking soon, I miss Darkeye too much. Those monsters have him and my foal. You hear the news yet?" taking a seat now.

Leone landed on an area that fit the description the Stallion in the audio described to be the location of the entrance of a latch leading into the facility, however he did not go into detail of what to expect once inside. She then realized that the stallion was talking from such a long time ago and it was likely that the entrance was buried and disturbed the earth for some time, discovering the latch and finding it difficult to open, even with her power armor strength. She traversed the synthetic corridor that seemed to go on for days and encountered a pedestrian looking door, one that a pony would find in a house before the apocalypse. Leone pushed open the door easily, finding herself in a new room, one that was filled with marvels of science, technology, and a massive blast door, untouched by time, however the terminal near the door was damaged "N-no, no, no!" Leone shouted as she punched the terminal.

 

I wouldn't do that if I were you. A voice said from an unknown area of the compound, it definitely wasn't pony, it was synthetic, an AI perhaps? Identify yourself Intruder, or be eradicated from existence. The lifeless voice threatened as four automated turrets, each equip with different elements and shielded with magic erected themselves out of the wall, adjacent to the door and equally distributed.

 

"I'm umm...Leone, I worked on the M.E.G.A project." Scanning for credentials....M.E.G.A systems detected, transferring control of facility to you. Looked like this suit wasn't just a big target for ponies after all. Unidentified lifeforms detected, suggesting defensive counter measures. "Who's there?!" Leone shouted from behind a manual turret, fortified with blast shield, dammit, was she followed? "Close off all exits, fire on sight!" Leone commanded to the AI and the turrets began to follow invisible targets, not firing yet.

Wildfire dropped half a dozen EMP grenades, deactivating the turrets all but the one the leone was in.

All three ponies became visible and strawberry lemonade addressed leone "what is the mega missile? And more importantly. Why do you want to use it?! Elegron fought rave to prevent a very similar fate ten years ago. We won't let you destroy equestria."
