C Students is an amazing and hilarious deconstruction of the high school genre blended with some good old-fashioned cartoon wit. I think it's just what the doctor ordered for most of us who hate both high school and the silly, phony media based on it.

 

I will definitely tell you that August is almost exactly me when I was in high school (emphasis on the almost, I got As, not Cs), even looks like me with longer hair. He's the perfect character to have at the center of this show, being one to say what we're all thinking. Outcasts like August, Kevin, and Penny really are the kinds of characters a show like this should be focused on, one that the rest of us can relate to, rather than the endless stream of preps, jocks, and popular kids who are the normal focus.

 

I would follow their Tumblr...if I had a Tumblr account...if Tumblr weren't such a cesspool.

 

If only someone would put some money into this show so we can get more episodes done on a regular basis... -_-
