She would still need a trainer. I am just saying that the trainer who does eventually capture her could mega evolve her with it.

The berry sylva holds is a memory berry. It can help an evolved pokemon remember old moves if eaten.

Well, I'm sure my Riolu is from Sinnoh, but there isn't anything saying Pokemon can't leave their region for whatever reason after all... (sneaking/smuggled on a boat/plane would be one(four?) example(s?)..
