technical issue Status updates?

For about a week or two, I've been experiencing problems with status updates. More specifically, deleting them. Every time I try to delete them, it'll seem to work at first, until I refresh the page. When I refresh the page, the status update will be there again as if the delete button doesn't work. Could anybody help me with this?

This is a common issue. I think it may be because status updates cannot be deleted, only mods and yourself can see them. This issue can be resolved by making another status update to take the place of the prior one, I've noticed. Once it's in place, the previous update should be in red, which means it was deleted, but not entirely removed like I mentioned.

Are they not showing in a different color? Red? They are visible for you still, but marked red, meaning only you can see them, but nopony else can(Except for the staff I think).

They should be showing pink/red as  and @Dewdlz has said.

Originally, we the code was set that a delete actually 'soft deleted' or hid the status update. There was a recent update to IPB that modified the code and it took a few weeks to patch it back to normal. This is how it should work:

 

You hit delete > it hides the status update from other members but shows visible to you and staff.
