He was watching mlp in the living room why I was making a new magic deck. normally I don't pay too much attention to hes cartoons but he watching the winter wrap up episode. loved it so much my cousin and I spent have the day watching season one through three on netflix. that how I got in to mlp. what was your store?

I saw a guy with a MLP name on Mass Effect 3 MP (360). I asked him why he watched it, another guy jumped in and started being a prick, so me being the nice gamer ganged up on the prick with the other 2 members of the game (4 total).

 

Point is, i later looked up Season 1, and i think season 2 was half way by that time..

My little cousin was watching little pony. The show was intended for her age. I've seen allot of emblems of my little pony on call of duty. So one day I've decided to watch it with her. After one episode I got hooked up. I still don't know much about the show Compared to the rest of yall. So sinc my cousin favorite pony is rarity I just went ahead and made rarity my favorite pony too.

I first found out according to a TheFineBros video, grown men are fans of My Little Pony and a Wikipedia article that the show is praised for its moral outlook. And I also grew up around peers who made fun of Bronies. Then one day, I decided to give the show a shot by starting from episode one despite me seeing some scenes from later episodes. At first, it felt weird. But when I heard the message the show was sending starting with the "Dear Princess Celestia" scenes, it hit me hard and I ended up seeing all of the episodes. I seriously didn't expect myself to get into this show this much.

I think I just saw it around sometimes...I watched a season one episode that was on TV once a few years ago just because I thought it was cute. It was a long time before I thought anything of it though, thinking it was just a cute show, nothing ground-breaking, but after seeing a lot of pony pictures come up everywhere online, and some of my friends on another forum mentioning it, I just randomly decided to check it out and see why it had such a big fan base. Of course I was hooked from the first episode on.

The show was on its second season at the time that I started watching it. My older brother ironically asked me if I wanted to try this new show that was making the rounds on the Internet, and not one to be out done in the ironic department, I agreed. I've heard and seen the shiw every now and again on DA, but didn't think too much of it.

 

Then one day, my I became curious. That curiosity got the better of me, so I looked up the first episode on YouTube, (back before Hasbro went nuts with the C&Ds). From there, I watched the second episode, then the third, and before I knew it, the entire first season!

 

I have watched every single episode ever since, and I have no regrets!

Really it was just dumb luck. I found it sometime two years ago, thought it was just some internet thing, and moved on. Finally decided to watch an episode in February last year. Loved it

I was watching comedy videos on YouTube when I stumbled upon the "Flutterguy" clip. I wasn't sure if it was fan dubbed, or real. I liked the artwork though, so I grabbed the entire first season and started watching. I was in love with the show right from part one of the premier episode. Although I was slightly disappointed in that the conflict with Nightmare Moon wasn't the story arc for the whole season though. Still, I liked the stories and the characters, and became a devoted Pegasister.

(It's fallen out of favor, but I still like Pegasister better than Brony!)

I'm fairly sure I've told this story in another thread but I'm one of those people who gets far too much enjoyment out of repeating himself, so here goes:

 

I was browsing the Crowning Moment of Awesome section of TV Tropes and to my utter amazement I came across My Little Pony. At that point I'd already seen mentions of it elsewhere on the site, so I checked out the list, and some of the things in there were quite appealing. (All of this takes place between Season 1 and 2.)

 

I looked up the first episode on Youtube and it was clear that this show differed a lot from the old MLP, which I hate to this day. It snowballed from there, and before I knew it I was waiting eagerly for Season 2 to roll around.

I was playing online games and met a friend through the game. We became quite close and was skyping every day. He was very into MLP and kept asking me to try it. So eventually I tried it. We were watching all the episodes together while on skype. I just couldn't help but love it

Gosh, I have a huge story, but I'll give you the condensed version.

 

Basically, my friend was really into the show and she told me about it; I thought she was strange for a little bit. Then I got a deviantART and just for fun looked up "pony base" because I wanted to draw a pony - not necessarily in the MLP style, but still. So I was very surprised by all the results that came up and got curious and watched the show the same day I signed up for these forums. Then I fell in love and all my siblings like it except for my younger brother who thinks we're all idiots.

A couple years ago I saw it on Netflix, thought it looked lame and girly.

 

So I watched it just for laughs and I fell in love with it.

 

My two younger brothers made fun of me so I made them at least watch an episode and see if they like it. My youngest brother instantly liked it, but my other brother took some time to work up the courage to admit that he liked it too. Now we all have a common bond of ponies and it's definitely helped our relationship. My parents joke around about it but are accepting, same with my sister.

 

Hell I've even got my mom to watch a bunch of episodes. Some were a hit and miss, but she doesn't really like cartoons because of a big traumatic situation that happened to us years ago.
